  • "The food presentation was fantastic, there was a lot of though behind the presentation of every dish. Loved the appetizers, main course was a bid disappointing but that could be because we were already full from too many apps..... For cocktails I ordered the margarita (which it was too sweet for my taste), the server offfer to remake it but it ended up not tasting right. I have to say:....great job creative team behind this restaurant!"

  • "Truly excellent!!! Food and service were amazing.. Will be back!"

  • "We were under the impression this was a high end venue; however, upon arrival had to wait over 35 minutes to be seated (we arrived on time as per reservation). Once our table was ready, we were taken through the kitchen to an upstairs overflow room, where according to the host it was supposed to be "less crowded and more private". To our suprise, our table was a mere few inches away from the table next to it, leaving no room for privacy and being much more like family gathering. We had no other option than to politely reject the table and find another restaurant nearby."

  • "The presentation and displays of craft cocktails & food is over the top! Definitely an amazing experience and one of my top spots in SoBe. The drinks are suburb as well as the food, delicious! Can't wait to go back..."

  • "Stunning interior design and wonderful idea of "frozen" menu items, great service.. but steak was supposed to taste, at least, different. Too much butter everywhere. Lots of sugar. Sorry, but didn't enjoy my buttery meat and chocolate dessert that contained like 2 lbs of sugar. Appetizer was fine and all dishes were amazingly served but too much salt/butter/oil/fried stuff"

  • "My favorite restaurant in south beach and I am a food snob."

  • "Everyone said about "the presentation" of food at this restaurant and that is exactly correct. What a wonderful experience. Must try."

  • "A different kind of experience that should be tried at least once."

  • "Amazing presentation of food, food is very tasty, we sat in the garden and it was nice but a little dark. Portion is good, prices on the high side for drinks and salads"

  • "As always this is my favorite restaurant to dine at in Miami! Excellent food, service and the presentation is always a treat!"

  • "I took my daughter and her friends when she was 14 and decided to take her back for her 19th birthday Great Service, Great food, Great Presentation another memorable night...... "

  • "It was a amazing once and a life time experience. The food was perfect, but the presentations where phenomenal. It was really out of this world. This is our 2nd time going to Barton G's and we are always amazed. The costs however, are just as shocking. For us with drinks from their nitro bar, it came to about $200 per person, but as I mentioned it is a experience. If you can afford it - give it a shot. If your on a budget, do not enter. "

  • "We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated outside. We politely asked to be placed inside and were told that was not possible. It was extremely warm out. Our drinks were very good and we ordered dinner. We were a party of 6 and dinner arrived less than 10 minutes after placing order. I have been dining in fine restaurants for many years and couldnt believe how quickly our food arrived. This was supposed to be an awesome dining experience yet felt like a fast food restaurant. The food was average at best with over the top presentations. From our seats on the upper patio outside we could clearly see that there were empty tables inside that were available when we arrived and were still empty when we were done! "

  • "Very good presentation but too expensive for some choices, Brand Anderson was very good to us since it was very cold due to airconditioning ( by the way it was OK for US people it was only cold for us that we are from Turkey )."

  • "Presentation is the key at this place and it works. Overpriced? Yes. Interesting and fun? Most definitely. Have a nitrogen flash frozen cocktail. Pricey but fun. Not a place you'd go to every week but a must for visitors to SoBe. "

  • "This is definitely an experience themed restaurant. If you have an open mind it's the place for you... It's fun, quirky, and great food.... If your a "foodie" not sure right place for you. Again, the food is great, however I can imagine a "foodie" giving G a hard time which would rob it from the amazing themed drinks to the great food and outrageous deserts with incredible presentations. If you have a fun spirit hit up Barton G, you will love it!!!!!!"

  • "My niece recommended this restaurant to my husband and I for a visit. We both were glad we went but are very doubtful we would go back. The food was great, but the cost of drinks and the meal for a bit much. $27 for cotton candy?!"

  • "Was a great experience. Food presentation outstanding."

  • "When I pay $26.00 for a drink and $98.00 for a surf and turf I expect the service to be outstanding. There is a shortage of waiters who have no assistants to attend to diners. The presentation of the food is the only thing imaginative and different about the restaurant. I dined here years ago and obviously Barton is retired or AWOL---- very very disappointed."

  • "Made reservations for our 12-year anniversary and was very disappointed with the service at this venue. We sat down for over 30 mins with out a server coming to the table and we asked to have someone come over however no one attempted. Very disappointed as we left and went to Prime Italia where we had a great time as the service and food was excellent! "

  • "Barton G in Miami Beach is a jewel Hidden just a few blocks from the fast pace of South Beach. The food is incredible and the presentation alone is worth the visit (everyone taking pictures of their food all night!) Don't miss this great place which has maintained a consistency (key mark of the best restaurants) for many many years."

  • "I love Barton G. Always make it a point to go when I'm in town. I was annoyed when I wanted to change my table from a group of 5 to 7 the maître d told me it was impossible yet there was a huge table vacant our entire meal. Ridiculous. I will still come back though. "

  • "Presentation of food and ambience is terrific. However the food was really not very good. Salad dressing tasted like a marinade, the crab from the seafood cocktail was tasteless. And the "Twisted Sister"pasta did not have the ingredients it advertised. I will not be coming back so fast "

  • "Food was tasty and good, but the presentation is what this restaurant is about. The WOW factor, anesthetizes the price factor. Great appeal for young adults."
    Dined on 4/19/2014
  • "Barton G is always great. This was our second visit and everything from the quality of the food to the top service was outstanding, but what really makes this restaurant special is the presentation of the food and how they go the extra mile to make you say Wow! This is not an inexpensive dining experience, but you only live once so go and experience a fun, wonderful time. "

  • "Presentation only good. Food is really poor. Very expensive. Also. Had to wait at bar 1/2 hour and restaurant was not full. "

  • "The service is outstanding to be a modern restaurant. The waitress (Leon) was excelent."
    Dined on 4/18/2014
  • "While the presentation dazzles the food fizzles. Too loud, too crowded and the servers are not not honest about the quantity of food. We were a party of 4 and our server encouraged us to order enough food for 8. Totally wasteful and with desserts costing $40. You understand his incentive to sell, sell, sell. First and last time at Barton g. If I want to go to the circus ill buy a ticket. Skip it unless you like peanuts priced as caviar. "

  • "I took my son to Barton G to have an early dessert celebration for his upcoming birthday. The huge sundae was served in an oversized martini glass with a multiplicity of scoops of ice cream, brownies, whipped cream, chocolate syrup & cherries! The presentation was spectacular with sparklers lighting up the whole dessert! Nice ambiance sitting out in the garden area with great music. Service was very good."

  • "Food was not good- The dessert was amazingly presented but not so good"
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "Very unique presentation. Each drink, entree and dessert was presented like a scene from the futuristic city in Hunger Games. My lobster came with a Roman gladiator helmet! The cocktails fogged up like dry ice. The alcohol was frozen into a cube with nitrogen. We sat outside which should have been fine. However, the tables are about 3 foot squares. Not enough room for their presentations. The plates were hanging off the table. Seemed a bit ridiculous given the price. They need to invest in tables and chairs for the patio seating. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu. $90 lobster. It was terribly overcooked. Tough as nails. I'd still recommend the place to anyone with a special occasion. It is very unique."

  • "Although a bit pricy, Barton G. is more than a restaurant - it's an experience! The food is tasty - yes. But,it's really about the presentation and having fun with it. The service is always great."

  • "My girlfriend and I had been having a terrible couple of weeks.. So we decided, let's take each other out on a great dinner and drinks date. The service was fantastic.. The drinks, to die for!! The food incredible.. We sat outside and felt like we may have been driving people with the flash of our camera everytime something else was delivered to the table, but it was the norm. As each dish and drink were a different unique & incredible experience. Clearly a biot too pricey to do on the daily.. But we may have to splurge and do this once a month. We had a great time and forgot about all of our troubles! Thank you Barton G!"

  • "Barton G is famous for their service and food presentation. All food comes out on a display instead of a plain plate. Food is OK but not great. Not a place for foodies, but a great place to be entertained. Service is outstanding."
