"Food was excellent Saturday night. I had cheese plate, mussels, and pasta with crabmeat.
Mark our waiter was very good. I liked his suggestions.
Don't like their "bread policy" (see website) and would like crackers with cheese plate since there is not much bread.
We will return."

"In a word, Authentic. Every dish was excellent. If you are looking for large volume or budget pricing Bari is not for you. If you want a wonderful dinner, you will not be disappointed. Our party taken together had soup (tomato) salad, flounder (outstanding), sardines (to die for), brussel sprouts, pasta and gingerbread/gelato dessert, each one was better than the other. Excellent wine list - all Italian - just as for advice."

"The roasted potatoes and rigatoni with broccoli and portabella mushrooms were delicious. It almost makes me drool thinking about them. I'm a vegetarian and my husband is not so it was the perfect place to celebrate for both of us. It was the best anniversary dinner ever!"

"Not many food choices for vegetarians. Restaurant not flexible with menu, they will not even remove some items from recipe. Forget substitutions.
Pasta was good, however. Salads were not. The eggplant fritters were frozen microwave kind.

Service was very poor, may be just draw of luck. Our waiter was terrible but the waiter at the table beside us was great, and she waited on us more than our assigned waiter.

Overall, not a great experience. More we try Italian restaurants in Memphis, more we end up liking AMIK."

"The food at Bari was very falvorful and prepared very well. However, it was the first time I have ever left an Italian restaurant hungry (and I had 5 courses). Maybe i'm old school and I guess being from NY makes me biased towards Italian, but slightly bigger portion sizes would have made this restaurant a 5 star place. The atmospeher is fantastic and service was great. Once again the food was wonderful, just could have used a little more of it."

"This was our first visit to Bari (2 couples.) The food was exceptional and quite unique for Memphis; the service was also excellent. Plenty of seafood and vegetable options for carb conscious diners. The only concern I would mention is that the seating was a bit tight and the four of us are not large people. Nevertheless, we’ll go back and I look forward to entertaining customers there."

"Everything was fine except the wine policy. I am a wine collector and prefer to bring my own to restaurants and am happy to pay a corkage fee. However, at Bari they would not open the bottle of Italian wine I brought because they said they carried the wine, even though it's not listed on their wine list and I knew it wasn't. Our server, however, brought me a bottle of what I had brought to prove they carried it. Bari should have all the wines it stocks on their wine list."
