Diner Reviews
  • "We enjoyed a 4 course meal on Valentines Day. The dirty martinis were awesome. The band, Gyspsy Menco, was a lot of fun and very good. People were dancing flamenco. There was even a professional dancer there with his student. A young woman proposed to her man that night in front of everyone. The crowd was very mixed - age, ethnicity, etc. We had a great time!"

  • "Had a great time despite the game being less than exciting. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Food was very good. Lots of TVs so watching the game was easy. Kid friendly as well."

  • "We came to watch the last regular season games. The servers/bartenders were able to accommodate our request of seating us near the tv that was playing the Niners. Food was good, drinks were good, service was great, and the Niners won!!!! Couldn't get better than that!"

  • "This review is for the restaurant only. The club is awful. DJs need to go IMHO. But I digress. Since this review is from a visit that was over 2 months ago, I can't remember what I ate but only that it sticks in my mind how good it all was. The service was equally excellent and my husband and I enjoyed the patio dining experience and heat lamps that kept us warm and toasty."

  • "I went here for a date on a Wednesday at 7 o'clock. Pretty empty overall but fine for 2 people. Food was great drinks were price about normal for La Jolla. Beer on tap selection and cocktails had a decent selection. Very Good Overall. Seemed like the night life would be a good time."

  • "With two adult children who are still picky eaters and a tween who is even pickier, it's hard to find a restaurant the whole family can agree on. Especially when my husband and I prefer to get something we can't easily make at home. We've found it all here. Everyone in the family agreed it was a great night out."

  • "The food was terrible, definitely not worth the price. The ahi was flavorless, and the rice was hard and seemed old. I didn't even take my leftovers for my dogs. There were only a few tables that night but we still waited a very long time with empty glasses for our server to come check on us. I doubt we'll ever be back."

  • "Maybe it was becuase it was Good Friday, but there was only 1 waitress on duty, the Sweet Sixteen basketball tournaments were blaring, barely got any food, and really didn't need reservations because no one was around to seat you anyway. Just grabbed a seat. VERY LOUD and when we were having difficulty getting served we cashed out and went down the street to another bar/restaurant that was busy, but not so noisy that we had to scream. Actually had waiter service and better food too."

  • "I went here for my birthday because they turn into a club at night. Although the portions were very large, the food wasn't as good as I thought it would be for the cost. The waiter hardly paid attention to us, and we had to call him over EVERY time. Luck for him he had the gratuity automatically added to our bill. The food took entirely too long to come out, and they took too long to clear our table. The club was fun, but towards the end of the night the floor cleared out and people seemed uninterested in the music. Part of my deal for the bottle service was to have a cake, and they seemed to forget that part. Our waitress during the club portion was amazing, but everything else was a let down."
