"The shrimp & grits was amazing, shrimp flavor in the grits and slight spice from the chorizo. Also, outstanding was the pork shank with spatzle. Lentil soup & both salads were all worth ordering. Uneventful was the orecchiette pasta. Wine suggestions were also nice."

"My wife and I met here for dinner after she got off of work. Bottles of wine were half off, and we shared the Kitchen Burger with Tots, the Watercress and Blue Cheese Salad and the Truffle Mac N Cheese. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and the tots were fantastic. The salad and dressing were also great, but the Truffle Mac N Cheese took the cake. Great place for dinner. Service was punctual and friendly."

"Menu had changed a bit since our last visit, but still unique and interesting. Special soup that night was a ginger carrot with pistacios that was universally liked by our group. The shrimp and grits never fails to please. We were surprised by a half-off bottle of sangiovese to accompany our meal on a Monday night, which was quite nice. Mixed drinks were excellently poured, and the pacing of dinner allowed two of our party ample time to make a plane out of Burbank. The best part of the evening was wait staff who went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. My husband went back the next evening with a different group of business associates, he was so impressed! A winner. Nice that it's close to LA Live, but not in the midst."

"The food was great, but it was so loud we likely won't go back again, at least not with the "boss". We could barely hear each other across the table - the music kept getting louder and louder... The fireplace in the lobby/bar was beautiful and would be a nice place to hang out sometime. The "wine list" offered very eclectic and interesting choices, which I really loved."

"The wine selection here is very esoteric - show me another restaurant with Hungarian red by the glass, but no Pinot Noir or Merlot. The dishes are uniformly interesting and well-executed, but the menu is fairly short - 7-8 starters, a soup, and perhaps 8 entrees."

"Was said to be a gastropub and even commented on their beer selections on their website, but they do not have any beer on tap! Burger was so/so - although well cooked and better than your average burger, their dressing and cheese selection didn't quite balance right. The other two dishes that my friends had were very nice (pasta and shrimp and grits). Wouldn't suggest the burger, go for the shrimp and grits."

"Great Staff and service!! We were more than 30 mins late for our reservation so they gave away our table. Even before giving away the table, the Host called my cell to confirm if we were still coming...we just couldn't get our act together. We knew it was our fault so we didn't complain, but the Staff was unbelievably apologetic and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make up for the fact that we had to wait, even though it was our fault. Go for the great food and drinks, but keep going back for the terrific service!!!"
