I was a bit worried the hype would be greater than the reality, but that was certainly not the case. Everything was fantastic, from the service (the staff was very friendly, but didn't hover), to the bar (try the whiskey smash) and of course the food. I had rabbit and my wife had chicken. Both were excellent! We also tried the homemade potatoe chips with warm Bleu cheese dipping sauce, and ended the meal with a dessert of Pecan Bourbon Prailine profiteroles (say that 5 times fast :) with vanilla bean ice cream. We switched tables, sat near the door, and as the crowd thinned, we were able to hear the conversation at our own table! The food is wonderful and our waiter was a doll. The hosts were so pleasant and had a great sense of humor which sett the tone for the entire dinner. Our waiter was extremely friendly and interested in us. Be kept his appropriate distance but was there when we needed him. Having come to this restaurant sticky because Bobby Flay owns it, we have seen that it has so much more to offer. The food was great but the service and atmosphere was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant, such a wonderful experience. Started off with the most wonderful beignets accompanied with home jams such as strawberry jalapeno and wild cherry bourbon--just to name a few. The lamb sausages were some of the best we have ever eaten. Our table right by the open kitchen would have been just as fabulous had only Mr. Flay been in the house. I reserved a table on the mezzanine, and it was ready even we were a half hour late. We received 2 type of bread to snack on once we ordered apps on entreeés. One of the breads was almost cornbread like. Extremely tasty. The apps was a simple thick cut bacon grilled pizza. Again tasty. For the main course she order Lambchops which she wanted to devour even the done. Myself, I ordered the chicken. Probably 1 of the best chickens I've had. The side it was served over was excellent, too. Though I can't remember what it was called.
Service was attentative. Staff was very nice, polite, and accomadating.

The food was delicious - expected in some ways, and just slightly unexpected in others. Everything tasted great - and that's what you want. Some twists - Snapper "Florida style" - so flavorful, but you could taste the fish and it was delisious. Asparagus chopped salad was the perfect blend of ingredients, and all stood out. Can't begin to say how good the deconstructed chocolate cream pie tasted - sadly, had to leave a few bites on the plate even after splitting it because the rest of the meal was so good. Wine suggestions were spot on. We were pre-theater, and the meal was timed perfectly to accommodate.
