Diner Reviews
  • "Nice place, exelent food and misic, Good for party"

  • "What a great restaurant! Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Definitely try the snapper!!"
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "We had to wait over an hour to be seated, which seemed to be the norm."

  • "Went there on a Saturday for a late dinner, and it was...amazing. The staff was friendly, the food amazing, and music loud! Loved it. On a lower note, i did have to wait about 45 min for my reserved table...but those 45 min were just enough to finish my second margarita."

  • "Go late and sit outside in the garden to be in the center of all the action! More of a party scene than a regular restaurant. Gorgeous ambiance and impeccable service."
    Dined on 3/20/2014
  • "Baoli looks like nothing from the street, but is amazing inside. Great fun atmosphere, energy...and the food was AMAZING (surprisingly since we thought it was more of a club). The only issue was our waiter Chris was 95% awesome, attentive, and then towards the end of our dining experience he abruptly told us "you need to get up, we need this table". Really lame. The back of the restaurant is so cool - open air, fun unexpected. Could have done with a bit less techno/clubby music, and more fun dance music later in the night."

    Dined on 2/21/2014
  • "Baoli felt very exclusive, the service was outstanding at all times. Great food options and outstanding flavors. The dining scene turns into a vibrant bar/club scene that has a great upscale vibe."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "We enjoyed our dinner because the food was good, the service was excellent (especially for SoBe) & the restaurant although small is very romantic. I found it overpriced but enjoyed our evening out."

  • "Overall everything was good. The only disappointment was that i requested to be seating outside, and try did not"

  • "The server seemed a little out of it but the remainder of our visit was outstanding. One of the best Ceviches I have ever had!!"
    Dined on 1/25/2014
  • "Our server was amazing! Food was Great! The only minus - if you are more than 15min late for your reservation, you will have to wait for next available table.. Our waiting time was 40 min"
    Dined on 1/25/2014
  • "The haughty, officious manner of the maitre d' was so bad as to be more than offensive - it was laughable. We've dined in lots of fine restaurants around the world, and have almost always enjoyed our experiences. This one - sorry, but it was really sad. Are they running a private-line disco? Or is this really a restaurant?"
    Dined on 1/4/2014
  • "Very lively night club scene. Sparklers and fire for extra wow factor for our birthday boy. A little bit overpriced wine list. Overall fun experience."
    Dined on 1/17/2014
  • "Baoli was amazing, the ambience such as the food were great. The only let down was when i got the bill and 20% of service was already included to the total (non optional). Worst of all was the waiter telling us that he received nothing of that 20%, so we gave him some tips in addition."

  • "Good was very good. Great party atmosphere on a Saturday night. Upscale and expensive!"
    Dined on 1/4/2014
  • "Unless we reserved the table, we waited about 1 hour"

  • "It is the place to be, fantastic ambiance, dj, dancing. We had a great time. Outdoor seating area is beautiful and so are the people after 10. That being said its more of a place to be rather than a restaurant. And i would recommend it for that. The restaurant is good, the food is good and the service was excellent. However what's incorporated in the price is that you pay to be there...not for the culinary journey. Unfortunately there were no tables outside due to big parties, it's a chance you take. And the attitude of the girls at the hostess is, "exclusive". Luckily the waiter was super (Ryan)."

  • "First visit .The prices are sky high even by South Beach standards. Our waiter told us the establishment did not sell Prosecco by the bottle. We ordered by the glass only to have a server spill them on us. Afterwards the waiter said he could sell us a bottle for $65 for our inconvenience. Once we accepted the bottle had a $10 price increase before it reached the table. The food was acceptable although a $600 dinner for 4 that consists of calamari, and seabass is crazy. The restaurant is in the middle of the club district and is actually more of a club than a dining establishment. You pass thru a velvet rope and doorman to get in and can get your photo taken in front of a screen. You will like this if you fancy yourself a celebrity !"

  • "Atmosphere was very romantic and beautifully lit. Hamachi Jalapeño was good, nothing out of this world, but the Rustic Bouillabaisse was amazing and I'm not even a huge fan of seafood! Warm chocolate fondant was delicious. I will definitely go back to try more dishes. I heard their sea bass was great."

  • "Baoli was great fun if you are looking for a restaurant that turns into a nightclub. The people watching was great. The food was so-so. A table in the outside area would be fabulous!"
    Dined on 11/16/2013
  • "the ambience is great, but the server is not good. We asked to change our table, they said that was book but all the other tables were empty the role nigth."

  • "I was recommended this restaurant. We requested a table in the courtyard. On arrival, we were told that there was a party and we therefore had to sit inside. Our coffee table (very low) was in the darkest corner, no light and one candle. We asked the waiter to bring another one but he came back with a torch. No difference! When taking our order, the waiter would not bend down so we had to shout (due to the loud music) and talk to his crutch. We were right next to the bar so surrounded by people overlooking our table. Not relaxing ! The food was very good but overpriced. Overall, I think the venue lives on its reputation and does not think they need to provide a customer service anymore. Very dissappointing and I would NOT recommend."

  • "This is my favorite spot in SOBE. Excellent food, Amazing atmosphere, Best crowd in town!!!"
    Dined on 11/16/2013
  • "Great restaurant very nice but if you go around 7pm its not as good and the waiters just keep coming to you. Which is kind of a bother and annoying but simple reason they do it so they can get you in and out as quick as possible so next table could come in. We came in at 7pm and left around 7:45pm food comes quick which is great but these waiters don't play there great when it comes to service but these guys will stay ontop of you, right way to put it is feeling rushed. Food was excellent price is killer though but not that bad. other then that it was an allright experience will definitely come back again but this time in a much later time around 10 or 11ish."

  • "It was a bit of a struggle to get an appropriate table but this seems to be part of the "fun" of going to Baoli. Only once the manager realized that I was almost a French native, did things run smoothly."

  • "Elegant and fashion people, great music selection , good to go with friends and enjoy asian food"
    Dined on 10/26/2013
  • "Me and my wife had dinner at Baoli on oct 18 2013. It's a very nice place, as long as the high noise isn't a problem for you. Tables with groups, music (that become louder as is getting late) and singles make the place a mix of restaurant with club. You can have dinner and after move for an "outside" area where you can have some drink and listening some good music. It's not a night club so it closes around 3am. Regarding the dinner, was a pleasant experience, good wine, good service and an outstanding truffle risotto that cames from the kitchen inside of a huge cheese. They slice some more truffles and the hot plate melt the cheese while the waiter mix it all. That was amazing, very good experience."
