If you plan on dining, please budget for the occassion. While the scence is hot and steamy, just like you would expect from South Beach, the culinary cuisne and prices remind me of sophiscated restaurant in Soho. The indoor/outside vibe is spectacular. White truffle dish, is amazaing...best sea bass..ever. The wait staff, and partrons are all beautiful, great anniversary, or special occassion restaurant. Too much $$ for a first date, unless you're Diddy, or new Dolphin Mike Wallace. We came for the food and stayed for the atmosphere. The food we had was very good....Flavorful steak tartar, melt in your mouth beef carpaccio and a very nicely done steak....paired with amazing truffled mashed potatoes ( it'll cost you!).The service was well choreographed, we felt very well taken care of. But what kept us there for after dinner cocktails was the great entertainment. They had a resident DJ playing some reaaly good music ( even for us 50-somethings) and then the bar antics.....I won't ruin it for you. Go have some fun!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and ambiance wasThe food and ambiance was very good. Started off with a great civiche with shrimp, lobster and scallops. I had lamb chops which were excellent, and ordered a side of sauteed spinach. My husband had a veal chop which was breaded, pounded and had sauce and mozerella on it. It was served with a salad, and he enjoyed it as well.
For the price that you pay, I believe the service should have been much better. We had a waiter that spoke French and paid special to two tables of patrons who spoke French, and totally ignored my table and the table next to us.
I would return here if I had a different waiter.
