My were we pleasantly surprised! Not only were the staff kind and attentive, they were accommodating to the +1 that arrived at the restaurant amending out party of 4 to a party of 5 without hesitation. All of the food was fresh and hot and easily unmistakeable making it a great place for dim sum newbies just getting their feet wet (like my mom). This worries me as daily deals sometimes mean the business is suffering-- PLEASE eat here so that the restaurant does not go away!! :) The food is so frickin good and the prices are excellent. This is definitely a neighborhood staple for me. The juicy pork, the pork and shrimp shumai, and the bbq pork puns are some of my favs. Mmmmmmmmm.... There are some dishes I'm not terribly fond of, but the deliciousness of those alone will keep me coming back. The service is always excellent and I really enjoy the vibe of the restaurant. I had made a reservation,but they did not mind and seated us anyways. It took a few min for our waitress to come over but she did look busy and we were in no rush.
The food came out really fast,and it was amazing. I guess for LA those are standard prices but they did seem a little high,but the food was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and we always had water in our glasses.
