Self confident but not arrogant, knowledgable, but not not up-selling the menu and attentive but not intrusive throughout the entire dining experience. The menu although a bit pricey could not be faulted for the quality or quantity of the portions. One negative memory were the chairs which one would not want to sit in for more than 15 minutes. I found my food both great tasting, properly prepared and well presented. The Gnocchi was perfectly cooked with a good amount of tender, perfectly cooked crab. The addition of bacon and corn to the dish added both great flavor and texture. My wife compared her Panzanella salad to that which we had in Rome last year, fresh and flavorful. The night's special was a bone-in ribeye. Perfectly cooked, tender and wonderfully flavorful (yeah, I stole a piece from my son!!) I can't say enough good about the wait staff and their attentiveness and courtesy. We had a minor issue with one entree and the restaurant went out of their way to deal with it quickly and very nicely.......AND, unexpectedly not only brought us two extra side dishes gratis for our only very slight trouble..... We had a later reservation and part of our party was over an hour late. We were not made to feel rushed and it did not seem as though anyone was inconvenienced by how long it took our party to finally order. As someone who has worked in the industry for years I know how frustrating that can be on the restaurant's end. Our server was never invasive or intrusive yet always available when we needed her. The wine list was impressive in that it offered an excellent variety at very reasonable prices. Overall we had a great experience and before we even left we talked about going back.
