They are known for their beef and even "wild game" such as elk, quail, etc, that you don't see often. A very eclectic and special place. Comfortable and very relaxing. The elk medallions were tender and had excellent flavor. Have to say, The Bald Headed Bistro makes the top of the list!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding fare, unique atmosphereThe only problem - hard to pick among the incredible variety and quality of creations offered! We went with some standards - BHB filet and the Vegetable Napolean. These dishes were incredible, flavorful, lovingly prepared, and with the finest ingredients. Even the house salad that came with the filet was nearly a meal in itself. My wife and I decided to also split a side of the crab mac and cheese - this was the only disappointment of the evening. The crab had no element of sweetness to it, and its flavor was way too strong, far overpowering the mac and cheese flavors. The fantastic creme brulee, however, quickly swept away any disappointment!
