Baker Street BistroLovely Neighborhood BistroEven though Baker Street Bistro is on the other side of town from where we live, whenever friends come into town, it is where we bring them. BSB has a very lovely, European ambiance that has the feeling of being in Paris. The wait service is friendly and courteous and the level of service remains constant. Everything on the menu is worth trying - I've never had a bad experience there.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMContinues to bring above averageContinues to bring above average food, service and neighborhood charm.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAs first timers at this restaurant,As first timers at this restaurant, we didn't know what to expect but when we left we said we would definitely visit again.
The Moules Provencale (avec frites) was probably the best I've ever had. I had the halibut as my entree and it was excellent. The pork loin that came with the prix fixe was a little dry though.
The desserts were all excellent (apple tarte - prix fixe, the chocolate mousse & profiteroles).
The service was only "very good" though. There were more patrons than the 2 servers could handle so it was sometimes difficult to get their attention.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMYears of the best experience. We've been coming close to 20 years and love Baker Street Bistro. As always, everything was completely delicious and service was marked by the highest level of professionalism. Each dish was created with every detail in mind and the flavors were developed expertly and exactly. Our servers were helpful, gracious and attentive. We had a beautiful evening.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent small neighborhood bistroThe food was excellent. It was hard to decide but we had the Provencal Mussels and the lamb stew. The mussels were just excellent and the lamb stew was great comfort food on a chilly evening. If we lived in the area, we would be frequent diners.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere, serviceGreat atmosphere, service and value. Excellent desserts. The lamb stew and beef bourguingnon were both delicious! Loved the nice, big wine glasses, too.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent french bistro foodExcellent french bistro food with an extensive wine list of French wines in an intimate setting.
