We tried Bailey's for a new experience and it's close to home. However, for being a high end, pricey steak house, we were more than disappointed. The food including soup, salad and entree were so salty it was almost inedible (the soup was inedible). We went on a Saturday night and there was hardly anyone there. The walls were white and lights were very bright so no the ambiance we prefer for a nice steakhouse. We would not recommend or return.

Coming from Europe this was my 70th Birthday evening. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful restaurant and fine dining quality food but that is where it stops. The table servers were an absolute embarassment and not worthy of such a quality establishment.

Pretentious overpriced wine list. Why some restaurants feel they need to impress with most wines ranging for $120-3,000 I will never understand. As some that likes a bottle of wine with my meal, this defined the whole experience. Food was average - poor if compared to Dallas competitors like Del Frisco, Bob's Chop House, Ruth Chris; and based on the price they are trying to compete.

That salad was enjoyed by both of us. My wife's cocktail was excellent and my wine ok. Entrees were also excellent--a steak, crabcake combo for my wife and the salmon dish for me. Desserts were good though not particularly special. Coffee was slow arriving and not very hot. Service was adequate, but nothing very special.

We attended Bailey's as a part of restaurant week. The shortened menu was adequate, but my husband wanted more steak than 3 slices of tenderloin. He ordered a 14 oz ribeye (medium) from the regular menu which was undersized and not juicy at all. He said it was however, tender and properly cooked. So, a mixed review. The food was not worth the $35 per person price.

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I were looking at all of the gold accents throughout the restaurant. We were not overly impressed with the food. We both got the 6 oz. filet with asparagus and potatoes. It was good, but not worth the money. We also got a side of lobster mac. It was the best thing we ate. The service was genuine and attentive. Our server, Sean, was very good.

My husband I chose this restaurant to try for restaurant week honestly because the other popular steak choices were already booked. The restaurant is laid out well, some booths but mostly tables. We were seated in the main dining area which was a bit noiser than we would have liked. We were greeted quickly and ordered our meals. I had ordered a appetizer which was part of the Central Market 4th course but it came out after the salad. The salad plate was warm, I prefer cold. The entrees came out before the salad course was complete. The biggest issue was the service, our server was nowhere to be found after we completed our main entree. We had to get someone else to help us. Bottom line, good quality food, poor service.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2011
    Dined on 8/18/2012
We took advantage of the Restaurant week menu. Most of it was good, but the portions were small. I had beef medallions (only 2 small slices), a scoop of good mashed potatoes, and 2 small stalks of asparagus. The other course was salad with buttermilk dressing that was ok. The dessert was supposed to be strawberry shortcake, but was a small warm biscuit with strawberry preserves drizzled on top and small spoonful of whipped cream. There was one strawberry cut in quarters. The service was excellent and they even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary. The decor is very nice and the noise level was fine.I often go to Restaurant Week places to try new restaurants. IIII Forks serves bigger portions.

Not sure if it was because of Restaurant Week that the food was horrible or the Chefs was just bad. I have been to this Bailey's numerous times and had excellent food. So I'm going to go with it must've been Restaurant Week. My Beef tenderlion came out Well Done and I asked for it medium and the dessert was HORRIBLE. Please if you are going to participate in Restaurant Week and you really don't want to. Don't Do it if you going to send out terrible food to the customers.

The food at Bailey's is excellent. We went during Restaurant Week for my husband's birthday. He and one of our guests chose selections from the Restaurant Week menu, but I chose from the regular menu as did my friend. The offerings are both were very good with plenty of options. This is the second time I've been to Bailey's and both times I've been seated in a smaller back room rather than in the main part of the restaurant, which left me looking at a wall the entire dinner. Next time I will ask for a table in the main restaurant and I would probably rate the ambience higher. I felt like I missed out on something in that small room.

The service was great. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. However, I think the food was disappointing! I understand that Restuarant Week gives customers a chance to experience an upscale meal at a discounted price but I would guess that the Restuarant would want customers to come back! The steak was not seasoned well and my dessert was awful! I ordered the strawberry shortcake that came out as a rock hard biscuit on top of what appeared to be strawberry jam! Gross! Based on this experience, I would not go back! It was a poor first impression and I would not want to take the chance on paying full price for poor quality food!

We had heard a ton of hoopla but didn't find anything special about this place. Our first clue should've been by the poor valet guy with no cars to park. The place was dead! The steak was decent sides okay but overall stick with silver fox or capital grille for the same money!

We dined at Bailey's early last Saturday evening. We were promptly seated in a room all by ourselves. The decor was fabulous and the seating very comfortable. We were greeted by our waiter Shawn who was amazing. He did such a great job in recommending the restaurant's best dishes since it was our first time to dine there. He was very attentive and we enjoyed his impeccable service. The deep-fried avocado appetizer stuffed with lobster is a must try. Bailey's has a great wine list and martini list. Steak was fabulous! We also enjoyed meeting the manager who came around to make sure that we were enjoying our dining experience. We enjoyed Bailey's so much that we will be going again this Saturday! It is definitely the finest dining restaurant

The 14 oz. rib-eye was way overpriced for the quality of the meat. The rib-eye was like a steak you would expect to get at Texas Roadhouse. The calamari was greasy and served with tarter sauce. Bailey's should go to Maggiano's to see how calamari should cooked and served. Finally the Creme Brulee was not in a custard form. We have been to Bailey's three or four times, and there has been a definite drop in the food quality. This latest dinning experience was probably the last.

Paid in cash. Waiter never returned with change. He obviously felt he deserved a 30%+ tip and never saw him again even though we sat for another 20 min at our table waiting for him. Very awkward. Have never had that happen ever in a restaurant. Might be time for management to retrain. It's a shame because the restaurant is usually great. Now I probably won't return.
