  • "I came on Sunday and I knew exactly what to expect as far as the loud music and party atmosphere, I had been to Bagatelle NYC and loved it, I was looking forward to coming to Bagatelle LA. My waiter was great, fast and friendly service, the food was okay, drinks were good. DJ was very fun as well. The reason of my harsh rating is because some people here ruined my overall experience, this group of highly intoxicated trashy girls made this place feel trashy and skunky, it felt more like if I was in El Squid Roe Cabo San Lucas and not an upscale West Hollywood venue, I will spare you the details but trust me, it was ugly. I am not sure if I ever be back based on my first overall experience, I tend to gravitate towards more classy places."

  • "The restaurant was almost empty on a Fri night at 9 pm , the food was not memorable , the mushroom fillet mignon looked good on the pics but was just ok, the salmon was disappointing , only thing great was the tuna tartar appetizer . They have a DJ with loud music which was great for us but the food and atmosphere won't let us return , next door STK was packed, we felt we should have gone there! "

  • "We got to the restaurant to find it empty, which was fine. As soon as we sat down, we were informed that that they were out of the salmon. I was disappointed because that's what I wanted to order. I looked at the menu again and found a few smaller items I wanted. I asked to start with the butternut squash soup, to which the waitress responded that she thought they might be out of that, and she left to check. When she returned, she informed us that, in fact, they were out of it. Given how small the number of offerings on the menu, we just gave up at that point and went to another restaurant."

  • "I really expected a lot more from this place. I didn't have the best experience. The music was so loud that everyone was shouting to speak to each other. Great if you're at the bar area but not if you're sitting and trying to eat. If you are not a smoker like I am, try to be seated far from the outside lounge. Everytime the door to the outside was open, i could smell cigarette smoke. Then at one point, the door was left open and it was so bad, my hair reeked of smoke after i left. My petite filet was BARELY hot, maybe warm. We didnt get refills on our water until after the glasses were empty. It wasn't even crowded so there's no excuse to not notice our waters. Waitress was just okay."

Come early (8:00) for conversation before the crowds happen, then stay for great drinks and a hot scene. Their logo is a perfect representation: classy & elegant mixed with whimsy & crazy."

  • "Had a 9PM dinner reservation -- was not seated till after 10PM even though we arrived 10 minutes before 9pm. Front end staff were rude when I went back to the front desk and asked for an update. I have never had to wait so long for dinner when I had confirmed reservations. However... One of the hostesses noticed we had been waiting for over an hour and comped us a round of drinks which was nice but the wait really killed the evening. The food was excellent, at least what we tried, and the actual table service was also very good. The noise level made it difficult to have a conversation. This place is more for a larger bday dinner group not for small groups or table of twos. I won't return unless for a bday party or similar event."

  • "Getting there before the live Dj comes on (at 2pm) is a welcome contrast. I't's all about eating and drinking and drinking and drinking and there's champagne pong and girls on the tables dancing on the chair (and this isn't Spearmint Rhino). Well dressed, all done up, hot girls,good looking guys--and the booze kept coming---and at one point we had a lull in our mimosa service because they ran out of champagne. So they kept us drinking with some watermelon shooter. Lots of fun, very unique, not for everyone, but my group I was with LOVES this place and we'll be back. Even after our $800 brunch bill."

  • "The servers had us wait for 45 minutes to sit for our already booked table. I had booked a table for a romantic night with my wife at 7:30pm. I called them in advance that I would be at most 10 minutes and they mentioned that it would be fine. Upon arriving on time, they sat us at the bar for 45 minutes before getting seated. Moreover, they assigned us a 5 people table next to the exit door after such a long wait!"

The food was good, but questions about the menu went unanswered and the dessert wine we ordered came out long after dessert and was not what we ordered. We were told, "Try this. And if it's not what you want we can go next door and see what they have." What we ordered was something listed on the menu, so I am unsure why this was so confusing. I doubt we would return."

I would have given them a better food rating but the Sea Bass was not good. Baked and somewhat soggy..sitting on top of Quinoa. I switched with my husband and had his steak...way better. For my taste, this is a good place for steak since it is part of the STK group. Tuna tartare appetizer superb! Banana cheesecake also excellent. Nice pour of wine by the glass...but the cocktails for the price are skimpy...Martini glass 3/4 full for $15!!!! Measured pour for sure. All in all we will go back and order differently...nice clientele and DJ"

  • "No, No, No! I bought a package through Travelzoo for three, 3 cocktails, 3 appetizers, three entrees and one dessert to share. All we got were 'no.' Two of us have arrived. Can we be seated? No. Can we be seated away from the loudspeakers? No. Can you turn down the racket? No. Can we have glasses of wine (same price) instead of the cocktails? No. Can we have a flashlight to read the menu? There is only a votive candle on the table. No. Can we have the fried calamari for appetizer? No. The mussels? No. Can we have the banana cheesecake for dessert? No. Was this meal enjoyable? No."
