A word from Bacio - Tropicana Las Vegas
Bacio is a charming trattoria specializing in authentic Italian fare. Using only the freshest and most choice ingredients, we prepare signature salads, pastas, and more.

my hubby and i dined here on a
week long trip to fabulous las vegas (so of course expect to pay a smidge more) - and well worth it, bacio most definitely did delight!! the design of the restaurant (inside the tropicana) is the only slightly strange aspect of the dining experience - so much white!! our server amber was super awesome and made dinner that much more enjoyable! we had the most delicious scallops to start, soup & salad, my hubby's chicken parmigiana and my tagliolini - one of the best i've had!! oh and who could do it without wine!! thank you again to all at bacio - especially the wonderful server amber!"

Food was okay but over priced.
Wine very expensive for the quality. Would recommend alternative dining experience for price/quality."

what a hidden gem in Las Vegas..
The food was so wonderful and fresh and delicious...The chef came out to our table to thank us for dining at the restaurant...the pasta was the best I have had in years and the veal parm was epic...we love this restaurant and will highly recommend to everyone and will be returning"

I have dined at Bacio's a number
of times and it is always a great experience. All categories, food, service, ambience and noise level are excellent. In addition, the staff makes you feel welcome this time from Jorin the hostess to our excellent server Amber. Just an excellent restaurant in my opinion and plan to go back."

Breads and salads were not so
great, but the wine was fairly good and entrees were unsurpassed! Beef ravioli was exquisite. Chicken piccatta melted in your mouth. Veal scallopini dish had to be licked clean! We were seated around the outside of the main restaurant, where they had tables set up to watch the passers by between the casino and the convention area. It added more to the conversation, to say the least! Our server, Pablo, was superb. Prices very reasonable for such great entrees."

I have eaten here a few times and
although I find the restaurant somewhat awkward, it is not terrible. I will say that the menu is very much overpriced and that is unfortunate. Our server was very nice and the food was ok. I had a Groupon but I still went over by $100. I was somewhat disturbed by all the groupons being used...I could see that every tightwad in Vegas was there that night! how do you go out to a restaurant and drink water or soda? Why go out if you are that cheap?"
Dined on 7/8/2014
Great food, but pricey. Good
service No Ambience Not a bad option if you are staying at the Trop and don't want to leave the property."
Dined on 7/7/2014
2 adults/ 2 kids We had 4 entrees,
2 glasses of wine, kids drinks, 2 salads. No dessert and it was over $200 with tip. Sauce was dry, food ok, salad was drenched in dressing. Went the next day to another Italian restaurant at The Venetian and experienced great ambiance, flavorful food, dessert, wine and half the price for 4."
Dined on 7/3/2014
The food was horrible dripping in
butter bread was stale. Just overall not good!"
Dined on 6/28/2014
We live in Vegas and always go to
Bacio when we want Italian, true Italian food. The service and selection is fabulous, especially the Rigatoni."
Dined on 6/26/2014
Our waiter was Saul and busboy was
Glenn which were excellent. They provided us with superb service. However the food was a big disappointment. We started with the spinach salad. It was so overdressed that it made it pungent. We finished it by drinking lots of water. I ordered the veal marsala that was just okay. It wasn't bad, but I've had so much better. There was nothing special about it. My boyfriend order the Chicken Caprese. It seemed that they wanted to get the skin crispy, but they over did it which make it crunchy. It was difficult to cut and chew. The asparagus was good. The tiramisu tasted old and premade, not fresh at all. We had a Groupon which made this place more affordable, but Groupon or not I would not go back."
Dined on 6/22/2014
Found this through Groupon. Food
was very good. Nice wine list. Service was great."
Dined on 6/20/2014
We went here for dinner prior to a
comedy show at the Trop. The service was quick and friendly. The calamari appetizer was large enough for four people. The dinners were of reasonable size and were of decent quality. Certainly not the best Italian in town but a nice place for a pre show dinner."
Dined on 6/16/2014
This was our fourth visit to
Bacio's while staying at the Tropicana and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the experience was made that much more memorable by the attentiveness and care of Anthony and Derrick. Thank you."
Dined on 6/12/2014
We sat inside (we were offered our
choice for inside or outside), and our waiter (Lloyd), was helpful, knowledgeable, and bubbling with enthusiasm. The food was great, the atmosphere was good, and the service was stellar. Food was very reasonably priced."
Dined on 6/9/2014
We completely enjoyed it & will go
back. Thank you for a wonderful meal to add to our date."
Dined on 6/7/2014
A delectable meal! We were
pleasantly surprised by the caliber of the food and service. The wine list was terrific and the portion was just right. I would recommend this restaurant, without reservation, to tourists and locals alike"
Dined on 6/7/2014
We ate here for dinner and the
food was outstanding!!! They have an amazing chef!!!! Service was very good too! Definitely a must"
Dined on 6/4/2014
I must say for a small restaurant,
Bacio had great atmosphere and outside view. The food was delicious, service was fabulous - I would definitely come back!"
Dined on 6/4/2014
This was our second time to Bacio
and we loved it as much the second time. It is a quaint restaurant and the food is delicious! Can't wait until we can return! "
Dined on 5/26/2014
Our food was okay, but has the
same price tag as fine dinning at a 5 star hotel. Our service was great. The atmosphere was awful, as its basically in a hallway where all the guests leaving the tower come down and blow smoke over you food. It was very difficult to eat here as a vegetarian or a person that like high quality inventive dishes. I paid $25 for cheese and pasta with 2 tiny bits of asparagus, our appetizer has very iffy looking "fresh" tomatoes and our dessert could have come from an ice cream truck. I wouldn't be this harsh if a fine dinning price tag wasn't attached to this very mediocre meal. Our server was very professional, friendly, knowledgable and warm. She was the best part of our meal. Use a "Groupon"."
Dined on 5/24/2014
Used the pre show special menu.
Good value and some flexibility provided to meet requirements of a non- dairy vegetarian diet. Waiter was attentive, accommodating and a good sense of humor. Portion size was just right. "
Dined on 5/11/2014
Loved the clams in white sauce and
the lobster ravioli's were delicious. Didn't get to dessert, too full. Looking forward to going back again."

Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant.
Our waiter Saul was excellent, as was his staff. My only problem with the restaurant happened when we arrived. I had checked their website and saw that the dress code was casual. I called to make the reservation and was told the same thing. I was wearing a nice collared shirt, expensive shorts and $100 sandals. When I go to the place, a man told me he couldn't seat me because I was wearing shorts. I explained what the website and the personal who made the reservation said. He told me sorry, it was company policy. Meanwhile, there were people dressed nowhere near as nice eating there. Also, there were WOMEN in shorts and sandals. I made him call a superior and got seated, but it ruined the night."

Food was extremely good, service
was excellent and the nice quiet dining experience was unexpected. Great people watching too!"
Dined on 4/21/2014
Your Tropicana rewards card will
get you a glass of wine to start off, and service is impeccable! Unhurried and a few good choices to pick from, pastas, Italian light fare at Vegas pricing. A pleasant experience with no waiting, make a reservation."
Dined on 4/16/2014
Reservation was for 9:15. Was 30
minutes late and they still held my reservation. With Groupon price was very reasonable. Great food and service."
Dined on 4/15/2014
Bacio is a little gem in the
Tropicana, Casino not lately known for dining. The menu is basic Italian with a lot of added flair. I've taken a lot of groups here and have never had a bad meal. The service is always stellar and the wine list, while not extensive, has some real gems."
Dined on 4/9/2014
The ambiance, food and service
made for a great dining experience, at a reasonable cost!"
Dined on 4/1/2014
We were looking for good Italian
food that wasn't far from our hotel (Luxor). What a great find Bacio was. We had meat and cheese plate appetizer, scallops and asparagus risotto and braised short rib tortelloni. Both were excellently prepared. The flavors of the tortelloni were amazing. In addition to great food our server, Amber, was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the food. If you're going be sure to request her, you'll be glad you did!"
Dined on 3/28/2014
It was okay, but should not have
taken a cab since there are several better Italian restaurants that we passed."
Dined on 3/21/2014
this was my first time to the
Tropicana and Bacio didn't disappoint. delicious italian food (i had the crab and lobster ravioli). great drink list. very friendly hostess and attentive wait staff. very pleased, would return!"
Dined on 3/12/2014
Great food, great dining staff.
Our waitress Amber, was fabulous, as was the food we ordered."
Dined on 3/7/2014
While the food was good overall
the seating "outside" was very odd. You are seated in the walkway of a concourse for the hotel. Not very intimate at all. Service was very good and our waiter was very attentive."
Dined on 3/2/2014
Our server, Todd, was great! Very
attentive and genuine. We celebrated our last night in Vegas at Bacio and will definitely be back next visit. The linguine was delicious and the chicken park portion is unreal."
Dined on 2/28/2014
Our party of six was quickly
seated when we arrived for our reservations. The seating was "outside" along the walkway where hotel guests and casino guests walked by throughout our dinner. There was zero ambiance. The 3 appetizers we had were horrible. Tasteless and poorly prepared. Our entree's were slightly better- but overall the dinner at Bacio was overpriced and low on value. Service was pleasant and attentive, although at the beginning I had to ask the waiter to slow down as he was rushed and talking quickly and out of breath and seemed like he just needed to take a deep breath and slow down."
Dined on 2/22/2014
Our waiter was LLoyd. He was very
good and the problem wasn't his fault. The resturant was mostly empty, we had a table by the window and kitchen. We had a glass of wine and calamari while we waited for our 2 entres. After waiting over an hour we got fed up and decided to leave . We were very disappointed. Lloyd explained they had new people in the kitchen and our dinners were now ready but our minds were made up to leave. Lloyd did the right thing and there was no charge for the wine and calamari although I offered to pay. Therefore, we did not have a quality experience. Regards, Walter and Penny Davis"
Dined on 2/18/2014
We had the pasta and a side of
meatballs. The pasta was cooked exactly as requested and the meatballs were excellent. The waiter Todd was very good. He explained all the specials and made his recommendations as well. Throughout the meal he was attentive and made sure all was taken care of. This is one of the better restaurants on the strip and will not kill your pocketbook for that excellent meal."
Dined on 2/15/2014
This was my second visit to Bacio,
and it certainly won't be my last. This might be the Best Italian Restaurant in all of Las Vegas. Food is outstanding. Service is Excellent. What else do you need when you are going out to eat? There is a very good, famous New York City restaurant in Caesars Palace. I've eaten there, and this little restaurants food is far superior to that one. I spent 55 years in New York, and this restaurant would be top rated if it was located in New York City. Recommending a special dish would be a dis-service, because each member of our party had something different, and all the dishes were outstanding. Great job by the staff, well done! Dine there and treasure the memory!"
Dined on 2/15/2014
This place was great! Our server
was Anthony and he took perfect care of us. My girlfriend is pregnant and we requested to sit inside the main room, and they had no problem making sure our table was available even on the holiday! We were greeted right away and never went more than a second without being asked for more water or bread, or how everything was. Just great service and the food was delicious! We had an app, a side, and 2 entree's and everything was wonderful."
