  • "Overall experience was very good. The host lady was awesome made us very welcomed to the restaurant and introduced to a great dining experience. We have visited there but this was the first time on weekend. Although we immediated seated at our reserved table, the wait was very long between the drink, appetiser, main and dessert. Especially, it was 50 min between appetiser and the entre, and when entre was served, we could tell it was sitting in the kitchen for a while (not hot, the top of veggies was a little dry). We had a difficult time to agree with the price we paid for and experience. We hear a very good reputation at this restaurant and we know the food is excellent. We hope we did not have a good luck only this day."

  • "We enjoyed oursleves very much. We had an early reservation, but the staff was ready and responsive from the moment we arrived. It is true that the tables are placed very close together. It makes for a noticeably tight situation and you do hear your neighbor's conversations, but for us it was not a problem. We had the Carpaccio and Capesante Dorate appetizers and both were excellent. Our entrees were the Strozzapreti Norcina and the Fettuccine ai Frutti di Mare and both were outstanding from our perspective. The wait staff was very helpful and struck the right balance of always being available when we needed them, withourt being over-solicitous (including a very successful wine recommendation). We'll definitley be back again."

  • "I made rez's for the day AFTER Valentine's Day (6+ wks in advance!). We were seated in the back room banquet hall & the service was terrible!! The server had way too many tables, but it was V'tines wknd and should have been staffed appropriately. He was completely insincere ("Glad everything was to your liking!" - um, he never asked us if we liked our food!) and forgot many simple requests (sugar for cappuccino, chunks of parm). We were seated at 6:30pm (early) and when it was time for dessert they were out of 2 desserts. My espresso martini was a sticky, sloppy mess! Bacco used to be one of the few places left where you'd want to dress up for a nice romantic dinner with excellent service. I don't know if I will return. :("

  • "My date and I arrived early since the only reservation time available was at 4PM. Parking was a problem unless you valeted your car. Staff was just putting final touches to the dining room before opening. Hostess was very gracious. Our table was very nice with fresh flowers. The dining room was nicely decorated and the tables were not too close to each other. Our waiter through the whole dinner seemed to be rushing us along. The food was cooked to order and attractively displayed. Had heard this restaurant was voted #1 but while nice the voters haven't been around to many upscale restaurants to compare. Would recommend as long as expectations are not too high. Over priced for the experience!"

  • "My husband and I have been going to Bacco's for the past few years. The food is outstanding. The service is great, you never have to ask for more water or bread. They time your courses so that you are not rushed but also never wait long for the next course. The only problem we have with the restaurant is the seating. They have too many tables. You are seated right next to another couple and have a hard time blocking out conversations. We have decided to stop going for dinner and only go at lunch, during the summer when you can eat outside and have a little more elbow room."

Not only did they give us a great table off to the side of the restaurant, they also surprised my husband with creme brulee (3 different flavors) and it was so elegantly presented with a birthday candle! What a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!"
