  • "We really enjoy the contemporary elegance of this restaurant. The squash soup, designated as a "small plate", was superb. We had ordered it to share but then it was so good we had to order a second bowl as it was definitely a small plate. The artichoke salad, another small plate, was perfectly dressed and excellent. The lamb entre was prepared as ordered and delicious. I ordered the scallops which were good but a little too salty, perhaps due to its preparation with pork belly. We were very happy with our wait staff, 2 women who knew the wine list and menu well. They were thoughtful, helpful and engaging. This restaurant is great for a special occasion. We have dined there before and would definitely go back."

  • "Curried Squash Soup Loved it! Truffled Mushroom Risotto Pasty texture. Flavor was nothing to rave about. Missing on this one. Orecchiette Pasta Squash cubed into very small pieces and not too many. Brussels sprouts were more like leaves than anything and not too much again. It was good, but great no. Could have made this at home. Servers - Susie and Jennifer. very attentive to our table. Susie was a pleasure!"

  • "I would expect much better for a resturant of this level. The waiter was arrogant, we were never told of any specials. We didn't find out until the table next to us was told. After waiting over an hour for a table we had to ask when we would be seated. Bar tab was not on the bill. When we asked about it, they acted as if it was an inconvenience and never thanked us. Food was good, but would not go back!"

  • "I shared a special reunion dinner with a dear friend at Bacchus. The food was delicious and gorgeous! We chose 3 small plates to share, and an entree each, plus dessert. The portions were perfectly sized, small enough to enjoy each taste and leave us wanting more. By the time dessert was finished, we were quite full, but not stuffed, and absolutely thrilled with our choices. Neither of us are drinkers, so the price was quite reasonable, even with all our indulgences. Overall a wonderful experience!"

The ambiance is nice and the wait staff was great. I must say; however, I was disappointed in the food. I visited on Valentine's Day and ordered the Valentine's Day 3-course meal. The dessert was pretty good. The scallop ceviche appetizer was bland, at best. Unfortunately, I was the most displeased with the main course. The New York strip was not cooked to my requested temperature, even after returning it. Further, the broccoli rabe had a peculiar burnt-like taste."

  • "Upon entering the restaurant, the doors opened automatically whic was great because it was freezing outside! The ambiance was very romantic but was a little loud. Since I visited on Valentine's Day, I understand it was a booked night. I ordered the Porterhouse for two. It came with creamed potatoes that were delicious and sautéed spinach and mushrooms. I ordered broccolini instead of the mushrooms. The broccolini was too salty and over grilled. My drink was delicious ( told the bar tender to make me something sweet). For dessert I had the banana cream Tart- Fabulous! Enjoyed it- will come again!"

Which was fine in hindsight, it kept me more focused on my wife and the food. Service is just what you'd expect, the bill was right in line for what you were getting."
