Bacchanalia - ChicagoAn exquisite dining experienceI was looking for a place to dine at with an old friend of mine from high school. I was looking for a good restaurant with delicious food, a friendly and attentive staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. I looked online and found wonderful reviews for this restaurant. I was happy to experience all of those things. It was a nice dining experience, with all of the elements of a good, quality restaurant present. When the food took a bit to cook, the chef even gave complementary food (which was unexpected and nice). My old friend and I were able to catch up at a place with good food, service and a comfortable atmosphere. It was truly a wonderful find. There was complimentary pasta with a cheesy tomato sauce that was to die for served with bow tie pasta. I had the salmon with Dill Sauce and mushroom risotto and my husband had the lasagna. Both were delicious and there was plenty left over for another serving (work lunch!). It was nice and romantic. The only thing is they only take cash.
