It is one of the most attractive dining rooms on Capitol Hill, with good and often excellent service, and enough menu choices that I know a lunch guest won't be disappointed.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchWow! B Smith's Mother's Day brunch was exquisite. The food was wonderful, especially the greens, macaroni and cheese and all of that seafood (crab legs, shrimp, oysters on the half shell, etc.). They had omelets to order, waffles to order and everything we could have possibly wanted. If you haven't been there, the restaurant is in Union Station, but once inside you would never know that. It is like having an exclusive setting in the middle of one of the busiest spots in DC.
The service was seamless - every plate we finished was whisked away and our beverages were filled without our noticing.

The service was really good. Waiters were attentive and met our requests. The overall food quality was good. I was not wowed by the crabcake that I ordered nor by the desert peach cobbler. The ambiance is great. The Spiced Wings were spicy and juicy. The B.’s Bayou Jambalaya was rather dry. The Lamp Chops my husband ordered were delightful. The crab cake I ordered....some of the potatoes on the plate were under cooked. The lemon sauce was horrible. the crab had very little if no seasoning. With one Mojito my bill was $103.
