We had nine people of all ages and received terrific and wonderful service. The menu is probably not the best for a really picky eater but the kitchen catered to the one at my table. The music was great but rather loud on this trip. I sat in the very same spot a few weeks before and found it wonderfully soft so this obviously changes with the performers. Matthew's before for brunch but never for dinner. The service was fantastic, the server's suggestions were very helpful, and the food incredible. I recommend this place to everyone I know when they ask about a good place to eat. Thank you, also, for being so accommodating with one of the members of our party who has gluten and dairy allergies. Everything went so smoothly. Both items were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive.
They had a duet playing a guitar and violin who were very talented but just a little too loud for my taste. They did not need to be amplified.

Upon arrival, a single guitar player provided great music for a wonderful dining experience. However, as we ordered desserts, a large event downtown resulted in a large number of people arriving for the bar. Service suffered. The requested desserts and drinks never arrived. The staff seemed overwhelmed with attempting to serve the numbers at the bar and maintain service to restaurant patrons. However, we would return. The food is delicious. The chicken roulade is tasty, but the turkey bacon seemed to overpower the chicken. The fried green tomoato and blackeyed pea appetizer is not to be missed. Service was super quick, friendly, and efficient. Bloody Marys were great! He had Crab Cake Benedict and I had the Fried Green Tomato Benedict. Have rarely seen such beautifully poached eggs and the homemade Biscuits were very unique and delicious. Both dishes needed seasoning pretty badly which was easily corrected with table salt and the accompanying fresh fruit (cut melons) was pretty boring compared to the rest of the vibrant dishes on the menu, which is why I gave the food a "very good" instead of "outstanding".
