As if began to fill up, the noise lever increased to the point that the four of us couldn't really have a conversation that all could hear. The food and service was very good. Between the four of us, we had three different dishes (2 fish, 1 pork) and all very very good. Dessert was very good also. There was a table ready for us with the number of people dining. The waiter was attentive, polite and efficient. The food was very good. The strawberry soup the chef sent out was delicious and their cocktail list is not only extensive but creative and tasty. We had the mozzerella appetizer that we loved as well as a bison tartar that was very tasty but a bit on the small side. Both of our meals were delicious, ribeye, and rock fish. At the end of the meal the server brought us over champagne to celebrate which was a great little bonus! Fisherman's stew was amazing and the $20 burger was well worth it. My date had a steak meal and she was also very satisfied. I did like the nice variety of the house drinks and wines as I love trying new drinks at new restaurants. A little pricey for the portion sizes but the food is very good and we will be going back.

The B&O have the best brussels sprouts in the city... and I have had my fair share or brussels sprouts. YUM!
The carpaccio and the the tartar are also amazing. The lobby of the adjoining hotel Monaco is not to be missed - a vast hall of white marble with magnificent staircase. The Brasserie's flounder was astoundingly fresh and perfectly cooked! To enjoy a quieter dining area required more effort than I care for in getting to, as the dining area upstairs appeals more I would think to the middle age and senior set. At the beginning of our meal we selected our own cocktails after briefly discussing our individual tastes with the server - for our second drinks we asked her to choose - and she amazed us with two more perfectly chosen delicious cocktails - obviously remembering what we had so briefly mentioned at the very beginning of the meal, we were so impressed and they went deliciously with our dinner and dessert.
