Azurea at One OceanA restaurant not to be missed!Everything at Azurea is wonderful. The ocean front setting is beautiful and the contemporary, clean, sleek decor is lovely. The food is creative, fresh and delicious. We have had two meals there and both times they have been perfect. The servers are attentive and not over bearing. They are very knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The layout and decor portray a modern vibe and the food lives up to this design as well. We enjoyed the "Chef's Adventurous Palate" menu, leaving the choice of food to someone else. We enjoy this option as we get to try things we would never try off of a menu of our own accord. In this case we enjoyed our "bacon" theme, including bacon ice cream! Yum!! The view even though it was overcast was nice, the restaurant was pretty full but not to loud so we could talk without yelling or have anybody hear our conversation. It was a nice atmosphere, unfortunately the food did not impress. Was not bad depending on your tastes, I for one do not like sweet fish, the dish tasted more like dessert than dinner. My date ordered a dish that was also sweet, the waiter explained what kind of fish we were ordering, but failed to mention the preparation or what the food would taste like, which could have avoided this. Each course was presented and explained by the chef. Tuna carpaccio with a ponzu sauce for starters, followed by a baby greens salad with roast baby beets. Intermezzo was a lemon sorbet atop a rasberry. Pan seared salmon was followed by absolutely delicious American lamb chops atop an apple/parsnip hash.
Service was a little slow to get started, restaurant was very busy. The servers were attentive and pleasant.
