My wife had a whole snapper that was quick fried and was to die for. Overall, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was romantic. You walk through the Royal Hawaiian on the way in to the restaurant. Fantastic service. Heavenly fish but the sweet potatoes were heavily spiced with Thai spices that were not mentioned on the menu or by the server. Likewise, the corn and mushroom side dish was disappointing as the mushrooms were elusive and the corn was smothered in heavy butter and spice sauce. The ambiance sells this place. We were there for a special birthday celebration and it was great. It is fairly expensive so be prepared. Had the 5 course tasting menu and every course was fantastic. The poached beef was to die for. The 'Ocean Cappuccino', sashimi and risotto were delicious. They substituted a tasty sorbet for me and brought out a delicious flourless chocolate cake for the birthday girl that we shared and was great. I didn't do the wine pairings as I am not a white wine drinker but 2 of our group did and they were very happy with the selection. The wine selection by the glass is not extensive but what I had I enjoyed. The service matched the superb food.
