I had never been to Azu's, so I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was simple, yet intimate. The service was pleasant. The food was simply delicious. The price is a but high for what I would normally pay for a meal, but you usually get what you pay for and for the quantity and quality of food you receive, the extra currency is worth it. Because I had waited so long to make my dinner reservation for graduation weekend I found the restaurant by accident - but it was quite a happy accident. I had a party of 9 and we ordered a bit of everything on the menu.
Everything came out looking beautiful and tasting wonderful; I was very impressed at how our great waitress (Courtney) was able to time things so the food came out at the right temperature. The our favorite rolls by far were the Crab Explosion and the E.T. rolls and the Mongolian beef was delicious as were the Gyoza.
Staff was very accommodating and took excellent care of us! I'm looking forward to going back just for dinner!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMI am fairly new to TallahasseeI am fairly new to Tallahassee and have been trying to make my way to every Sushi joint in town. As of now I would say Azu's is a close second to Masa (same ownership). The sushi is great, just one thing to look out for, quite a few of the rolls are the same exact thing just topped with various other goods, but still very tastu/3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMBest sushi in town.
