"There were 3 of us and we each got a different salad entree. Salads were very average at best. Very disappointed. The popovers were burnt and the waitress didn't come back after serving us for almost 20 minutes. Probably won't go there again."

"The service began well and then our waitress was given a table of ten. The service went downhill fast. We were served our food and that was the end of our service. We were never asked if we needed anything else or how the food was. When we spoke to the Manager about this, he acted like we were a nuisance and was rude. We do not plan to eat there again. We can spend $100 on a meal and get better treatment elsewhere."

"The food is just ok. Nothing spectacular. This is my second visit and for the cost - it is just not something that leaves me with an Oh - that was good. It isn't bad, there are just better places to go for brunch in the metro. Service was good for the most part but certainly nothing memorable about our visit."

"We went to Axel's because they have such a great reputation. We were disappointed. The service was slow, the waiter didn't even ask if we wanted drinks and it took a long time. Our reservation was for 8:15pm and we didn't get out of there until 10:30pm."

"Way over priced for what you get. Can easily get the same or better for $10 less a plate. Walking in, you smell the hotel pool which is quite unappetizing. And since it's attached to a hotel, ambiance is lacking."
