I can't eat bread anymore, but the table bread is excellent. My lunch came with dessert, but I can't eat flour or wheat/gluten...The waiter offered me a sorbet which I thought was amicable. Very nice outdoor dining if you can get it. My friends are seafood experts and have virtually every kind of ocean fish there is.
The menu at Avra was delightful, as well as the wine last. The waiter recommended Bronzino (in Italian, Luraki in Greek) and it was custom prepared in a charcoal oven with light, delicious herbs. Our waiter also was very knowledgeable in terms of wines and recommended an outstanding Santorini/savignon blanc.
