Very nice outdoor dining if you can get it. My friends are seafood experts and have virtually every kind of ocean fish there is.
The menu at Avra was delightful, as well as the wine last. The waiter recommended Bronzino (in Italian, Luraki in Greek) and it was custom prepared in a charcoal oven with light, delicious herbs. Our waiter also was very knowledgeable in terms of wines and recommended an outstanding Santorini/savignon blanc.

However the level of noise makes conversation difficult if not impossible. We left after our entree to find a quieter place for an after dinner drink. Our waiter was pretty stand-offish and was nowhere in sight when it came time to get the check. The owner was around, but seemed to spend his time talking with the regulars. We had to ask three times for lemon slices for our water. We also had to ask three times
