  • A Nice Bowl of Pasta!

My husband and I have been wishing for a good go-to Italian restaurant in the 'hood. Looks like it's arrived! A great bowl of bolognese. Everything came out piping hot. Lovely atmosphere. Nice music vibe, not too loud. Good service. A relaxing meal. Nice house Chianti by the glass. We will go back, and soon. This place is tucked back in the "Olympic Collection" cluster on NW corner of Olympic & Sawtelle, so you can't see it from the street, just a smallish sign. Convenient 90 min. parking validation in underground lot. Support this place--we need it here. (No, I don't have any connection to Avenue Italy Trattoria--I just appreciate a good bowl of pasta.)

The night and the music divine! None of the thumping electronic cacophony but rather Dean Martin and Frank in the background. Not bad. The food delish as was the attentive wait staff. Great Bread, olive oil (my standard) and we will definitely return. Great in door space, fun for a party too.

My friend and I had lunch here today. We showed up early but the staff were very nice and seated us right away. we were served warm focaccia with herb dipping sauce which was heavenly. I had the linguine mare blu and my friend ordered mostaccioli vodka. both of our dishes were amazing. we are very happy that Avenue Italy opened their doors here 5 weeks ago. We will tell everyone about this place. we wish them all the best and will support this restaurant as much as we can. great job.

With so many Italian restaurants in Los Angeles, this one definitely can hold its own. It’s in a neighborhood that needs a little more diversity in food selection, and the food was very good. The Service was great, and the chef even came out to make sure our food, and experience was OK. Would definitely go back.

My friend and I went for an early (5:30) dinner on a Sat night. We were the only ones there for about an hour. It's very new so not many know about it. Sat outside, which was nice, but it overlooks the parking lot. Great service... Helped us pick our food and wine. Definitely will go back.
