Our waitress was excellent and the food selection was fantastic. Having several food allergies ordering can be a challenge but all of my requests were accommodated without hesitation and execution of said requests was flawless which made me extremely happy! John manages to keep the menu fresh and interesting with new dishes and his crew of servers combines professionalism with friendliness, which is a tough combination to beat. This time we shared the charcuterie with a couple of Italian cheeses, salami and nice accoutrements, including tasty "candied" figs. My wife had the goat cheese ravioli while I had the fazzoletti with pork cheeks. Wonderful. We finished with a tasty cinnamon bread pudding topped with ice cream. He said no worries, it's used at the base for one of the pasta dishes for the spring menu. It was delicious, just like I remember. There were many items from which to choose; several of us found the frittatas especially good, but you could have picked almost anything and I'm sure you would have enjoyed it. As long as I have lived in WC and dined out so often, I can't believe this was the first time there. The food was great, with a very nice and creative menu. The portions are a perfect size. The chef's menu is a god deal although we did not try it. I would definitely try it the next time. Definite place for foodies! The decor and ambiance were great, very classy yet low key. it was little noisy at times, but there was a large party near us, and they were having a great time. Who can blame them or the restaurant? The two fireplaces are very nice, although the one we were sitting next to was not in operation. The staff was excellent!! Very attentive, without being intrusive. We enjoyed the 4 course menu tour and each dish was beyond expectations. There's nothing bad to say about the experience. They even had gluten free options for the pasta course and the manager checked on me to make sure the food allergies had been addressed throughout the meal. There were 3 of us late on a Saturday evening and we ate at the chef's table right up near the kitchen area. Neat location! Everything was great, and, even though it was a busy night, our servers never missed a beat. If you're an olive lover, try the chili-cured olives as an appetizer or addition to an entree. Top notch. The food is terrific both presentation and taste. Prices are respectible and size is just right - not so much that you can't eat it all, or so little that you are still hungry.
