The Black label 12 oz. burger is delicious. My only complaint is that they do not refill Iced Tea. The apple crumb pie is a pass. A waste of 7 dollars.

This is your standard pub food. Nothing fancy. My steak sandwich was tasty and the steak was actually tender not tough Like you sometimes get. I don't know if I would order anything fancy but I don't know. The dining room could use a makeover which might inspire more confidence in their food.

We where a party of nine on Mother's Day. I know it may not be the best time to go out but order was very slow, not completely correct (ordered egg whites got full eggs and ate it anyway), served at different times (some people were almost finished before others got their meal), and never received the toast that accompanied dishes. Very apologetic and bought us a round of drinks but kitchen needed more help on this day.

we went with friends who had gift certificates. they have a very broad menu. Food was decent but not special. did not see inside of the bar side but the dining room was very dated. i like bars with old dark wood but this room had a decidedly stale feel. this place is off the beaten path for us and i don't think i'd make a special trip to go back.

  • Don't Go When They Have a Party
    blig
    Dined on 7/26/2013
On the evening we went they had a large group/party and as a result it took some 45 minutes to just get our salad, because as we were told the kitchen was backed up (due to the party). We only got a bread basket after having to remind the wait staff. The french fries we ordered came as nearly raw baked potatoes, which we would have sent back except by then we were starving. To cap off the evening they made a rather sizable mistake on the bill. Clearly we were not the only unhappy patrons as several tables around us complained to the manager, who clearly acknowledged the problem(s) but never offered anything, such as a drink on the house, to ease the pain.

The menu was relatively short which was nice - we didn't need 1/2 hour just to read the menu! Menu also included a description of how the steaks are cooked. Service was very friendly and obliging but a little forgetful (when reminded they were very quick to fix the little problem). Overall, we enjoyed the food and the place very much and WILL go back!

The service was slow and took a long time for our food to come out. Which was surprising since the restaurant was not even a 1/3 full. The apps (wings and fried calamari) were good. We all order burgers and they were delicious. I would definitely go back, hopefully on a night the service isn't off.

Our overall experience was pleasant. The service was good and the food was delicious. We were not rushed and were able to spend time with our friends chatting after dinner. It was also the All-Star game and it was nice to be able to watch as well. We would definitely return again some time in the near future.

It was a good dining experience. The only reason that I didn't give them a great rating is because they were not very "Kid" friendly. Although they have great tasting food and the service was ok, I did not like the way the hostess came over and hushed my child and the children at the table next to us. Seriously? its not a quiet restaurant at all, and with everyone chatting and laughing at each table, how dare you come over and address children for be too loud. Especially when there are two set of parents sitting there. If you're not "kid" or family friendly, you should state that as an disclaimer.

Sunday Brunch was really nice. Service was very good and it was nice to sit outside. We will surely return.

Went there for Valentines dinner as veteran married couple with a kid, and it was great. We had to wait for a minute to get our reservation but they were great about it. The waitstaff was generous and attentive, and the holiday menu was expansive and properly priced. Although my husband didn't enjoy the food he ordered, the waiter, Billy was very sorry & attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed the live pianist, and the overall atmosphere of community. I went there for lunch for my birthday the month before and insisted to go there for this special occasion. I wasn't disappointed. Cheers!!!

The young man who was our waiter did a very good job of taking care of us. I enjoyed two new items: a yummy mini onion loaf in our bread basket and a cucumber martini! My husband's hamburger with mushrooms and onions was perfect. He let me have some of his French fries; they were the best I’ve had in years! My main course was perfection. The mussels in a white cream garlic sauce were large and succulent, the best I’ve had in ages!

Generally a good neighborhood spot. Tonight the place was packed, and I mean packed. We were squeezed into a tiny little table in a corner.
