Aubriana's Fine DiningPricey but goodI still can't get over $26 chicken no matter who raised it but that's another story. Surprised that both smoking and dogs were allowed on patio dining; that definately took away from the entire experience. Their shrimp & grits special was as good as it gets. Very good service; Morgan was a sweetheart. $20 corkage fee was about right.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AM"Nice ambiance and good food"Hank was our waiter and is an asset to this establishment ; the service was excellent. Our party of four ordered steaks and chops and were served perfectly done, no complaints. The restaurant is airy and ecclectic and I will definitely return again.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AManniversary dinnerWe had reviewed the menu ahead of going to Aubriana's...and expected a very nice dinner. However, the experience exceeded our expectations. Our service was excellent...and the food was creative and well executed. We travel and eat out a lot...and are not often as impressed as we were with this experience. We chose to eat outside, and were fortunate to have great weather to enjoy. The outdoor tables and chairs are casual (the interior of the restaurant is more upscale), but the food was anything but casual.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMPromMy prom date and I attended with another couple and we had the best food we've ever tasted! The service was great and the food was put of this world. Will definitely be going back for any special occasion! My new favorite restaurant!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatThe food was excellent. With a group of 4 we all had different appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Sampled them all and everything was excellent. The Lamp lollipops and the filet were exceptional. The chicken and the short ribs were great as well. All of the desserts were unique, tasted great and had a great presentation.
The service was not bad but a little lacking that is the only reason I did not rate this experience 5 stars.
Will deffinately go to Aubriana's again!!!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMNice ambiance, good selectionNice ambiance, good selection of entrees, excellent service, pleasant experiance.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMVery NiceGreat place to have a nice dinner in downtown Wilmington. Fantastic old building. Great service. Decent wine selection. It is a little pricy. If you go whole hog (appetizer, salad, entree, bottle of wine and dessert) then prepare for a ~$200 bill at the end (3 - 4 people).
Yelp has this place listed as casual attire which was surprising to me. I would classify this place as hipster casual. Blue jeans with a jacket kind of place. Dress up if you want. Show up in shorts if you must.
If you are use to high end steak houses then I would recommend getting something else. The filet mignon was cook perfectly but was very small. For $30 bucks I would have expected it to be larger and more seasoned. Still, I would highly recommen4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing Lamb cutlets. On theAmazing Lamb cutlets. We had the salmon cakes and the flank steak and both were delicious. We were there on a very busy night and the service was excellent. The courtyard is very nice and we can't wait to eat out there when the weather is warmer. The staff is very friendly but professional and the new chef is keeping in following with Aubriana's previous menu of fine food. We are looking forward to what new dishes he will bring to our restaurant experience there!2/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
