A word from Aubriana's Fine Dining
Aubriana"s is a unique and exciting restaurant whose melting pot American dishes, such as blackened lamb lollipops featuring mouthwatering tender lamb cut off the rack and served with a delcious jalepeno mint gastrique, are sure to keep even the most refined appetites satiated. Other popular dishes include Chef Alexander's Sunburst Mahi directly from our coast's waters and the Veal Chop Saltimboca, which has garnered such praise as the best cut of meat in town.

We pride ourselves in the fact that all of our sauces and deserts are made to order. Among the Chef's specialty desserts, look for limoncello sorbet, volcano island cake, and the unrivaled double chocolate peanut butter pie. Expect to spend $17 to $30 for dinner.

Diner Reviews
  • "Perfect place to take someone in town for great food, great atmosphere, and great service!"
    Dined on 4/16/2014
  • "Our server, Andrew, was excellent---attentive without being intrusive. Our entrees (seared scallops and pork schnitzel) were about average, nothing special. The mussels appetizer is very large---included about 24, and they were better than the entrees. The lamb lollipops had little taste and were extremely rare (we asked for medium rare). The coconut cream cake (a huge slice) was VERY dry and unappetizing. "

  • "Aubriana's is one of our favorite downtown destinations. The quality of the food and service are outstanding. The Caesar's salads were perfect. Their take on Shrimp and Grits is my wife's favorite. The carrot cake with carrot gelato was magnificent. All this and then fireworks on the riverfront afterward!"

  • "As always, great food, great atmosphere, but service lacking, server needs much more training"

  • "My family and I went to aubrianas last week. Nice place and location , the food was not something great , it was OK, my wife and I had the ribeye but it was very salty, my wife could not finish it. My daughters had fish , one had the red fish which she complained it was tasteless the othe had the salmon which she said it was OK. Hoping this post help the ownership to improve food taste so we can go back again."

  • "Great food, great wine and awesome desserts. Quaint restaurant with character."
    Dined on 3/18/2014
  • "I had salmon for dinner and it was superb! My only complaint was that you did not serve bread so I could not soak up the delicious broth. When I asked our waitress for bread she said you only had bread sticks."

  • "Dined with our best friends for the second time, and even better than the first. All of our courses were excellent, great flavors and tastes. Really enjoyed the evening."

  • "The food was uniquely superb! We both had the monkfish stuffed with lobster. Service was excellent and very noteworthy. We loved the atmosphere and will return."

  • "Best chef in Wilmington at the best restaurant in Wilmington. Foodies should definitely make a stop here."

  • "The new menu has more veggie choices. The chicken dish I had was delicious. Our waiter Hank is the best! We had a great dinner and can't wait to return."

  • "the have the whole package. set up is nice inside with plenty of room to eat and not feel like you are on top of the next table service was outstanding. will make this a regular dinning spot."

  • "This was our first time at Aubriana's and we were very delighted with the experience. The menu was new that they were trying out and we greatly enjoyed the selected meals and desert. They also had an extensive wine list with a good selection of Malbec wines that are my particular favorite. The ambiance was welcoming and romantic and their service was very friendly and prompt. I would gladly go back to Aubriana's again."

  • "The entree was either microwaved of poorly prepared some other way. It was a lobster stuffed monkfish. The veggies were cold to the touch. And it took far too long to get our entrees which may explain it. Either way not good."

  • "From the time I entered the restaurant till it was time to leave, 100% excellence. I have not one negative thing to say. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were top notched. My only regret is not being able to try everything on the menu."

  • "Many restaurants advertise farm to table but few do it as well or with such subtle flavors and tastes. This was our 4th visit and the best yet."
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "We were looking for a good steak but didn't want a typical white tablecloth, ordinary steakhouse experience. Aubriana's has the decor, service and top notch cuisine we hoped for! Everything from craft cocktails through peanut butter pie was outstanding. Even our special requests were perfectly accommodated."

  • "We had a table of four and were glad to have a quiet table in the back. The service was fine and the food was exceptional. The whole table was really happy with the flavor, the presentation, and the portioning of our four different entrees. Then a group of ten or more came in to the bar (probably the after theatre crowd) and were loud and energetic. Fine…it's a bar. Unfortunately, our table was in the back of the bar area. Our conversation was drowned out and we were almost trapped at our table. Essentially, we forced to cut our evening together short because of the shift from restaurant to bar. We'll go back but not on a weekend and we'll plan on keeping it an early night with no lingering over dessert or coffee."

  • "Went for my wife's birthday and we were please with this restaurant, food was outstanding and ambience just right."

  • "We loved the Dancing Coyote wine, it should be printed in staff favorite's red. The duck was among the best I have ever eaten. My wife liked the shrimp, and that they left out the cilantro, which would have ruined a dish for her. (About 1 in 5 people cannot tolerate cilantro, so we were glad they listed it, and left it out.) Our friend's salmon was a bit undercooked, but I believe that is far better than overcooked salmon, for which nothing can be done. It was returned soon afterwards and she liked it. The food was really filling, tasty, and well presented. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and charming. The building is beautiful, for a few years it was the French consulate for Wilmington, later it was a famous bar."

  • "We stayed at a B&B down the street from Aubriana's so I made reservations for the evening. Our table was waiting for us and Katie, our server, was a great help deciding which of the fabulous menu items we should choose. I highly recommend that you save room for the peanut butter pie. It is not too sweet and finished off a great meal."

  • "Food and presentation was very good. Service was acceptable. Very expensive, so bring lots of $$$ when you eat here."

  • "Tyson Amick, the chef at Aubrianas, is amazingly talented and creative. He uses fresh, local ingredients and comes up with unique pairings of ingredients that might not sound good but are wonderful. Best food in Wilmington!"

  • "Consistent good food and service. Great menu with sufficient variety and tastes. Add in specials that extend the philosophy of the menu and the experience is always terrific. Wait staff is well informed and appropriately friendly."

  • "We found Aubriana's on Open Table. It was a short walk from the B & B where we were staying. We had an excellent meal and would return anytime we were in the area."

  • "My daughter and I went for Christmas Eve. It was a special occasion for just the two of us. We both had the pork loin, and it was delicious. The sauce was sophisticated with a hint of curry, and the meat was moist and fork tender. It was informally elegant and the food was delicious."
    Dined on 12/24/2013
  • "Visited Christmas Eve - staff was friendly and attentive. Although they had a special menue for that evening we had no trouble finding something that sounded mouth watering - it came and it was. Ecellent flavor and excellent presentation. A combination thats hard to beat. Stronly recommend. We certainly intend to return... soon."

  • "You might THINK you've had GREAT mushroom soup or smoked salmon before but let me tell you that Chef Tyson Amick does all your fav's in a whole new way! I've never EVER eaten such great food; the service was fantastic; the staff was friendly; the owner makes you feel like family! Don't miss this GEM in Wilmington--it's bound to become one of the GREATS...oh hang on! It already has a reputation and multiple awards for outstanding food, service and ambiance. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!"

  • "Went to Aubriana's for a small company (5 people) Christmas get-together. Sat at the bar before dinner and thoroughly enjoyed drinks and the bartender, who was quite personable and engaging. The food was excellent. A little pricy but we knew that going in but felt it was worth the $ in comparison to other fine dining restaurants in town. Had gone to Ruth's Chris' a couple of nights before and other than a different ambiance at RC, I was as happy, or happier, with the food and drinks at Aubriana's."

  • "Wow, this place was amazing right up until desert came. The lamb chops and foie gras apps were phenomenal. My wife and I shared perfectly cooked rib eye for dinner that was amazing. The wine list has great choices and the opportunity to chose something eclectic, which I really love. Then desert came. The chocolate bunt cake was dry and tasteless. What a downer because up to that point we were raving about the entire meal. All good though. Go for dinner you'll love it, just pass on desert."

  • "Aubriana's is a special place for creating special memories. The food is divine, the service superb and a lovely spot to savor. I have celebrated two birthdays there in the last three months and it brings a smile to my face."

  • "I usually do not leave reviews, but I feel that I just can't pass it up this time. The real showstopper for the evening was my scallops. Scallops are one of those things that you can get everywhere, but you end up getting it everywhere! Hands down, without a doubt, the best scallop dish I have ever eaten, and the best overall dish I have ever had. It was served on top of apple stuffed french toast! I would have never guessed, and I am not a guy with a sweet tooth, but this dish BLEW. ME. AWAY. A death row meal."
    Dined on 11/27/2013
  • "The food was incredible. I highly recommend it if that is all you are looking for. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable, though we thought he might have been new. That did not detract from the experience, though. The wine list was more than sufficient, however, and overall our experience was great. We went for my wife's birthday, and we would have liked a little more of a private atmosphere, being that the tables were all in one open room, but it was still very nice."
