The view was spectacular. Unfortunately that is all I can say about my experience. Very expensive, very small portions. Ravioli was hard. For the money spent it was a huge let down.

This is my favorite place in the world to dine, and I have been pretty much to a lot of places. The title describes everything in a capsule. Above all, it is the graciousness of all staff you encounter here that makes it well worth the cost in travel and money. I take friends here to celebrate their birthdays and my own, and anniversaries, oh, anything that calls for something special. The food is varied enough for folks to find something to their taste, and superb. Wine list, same. View overlooking the Napa Valley to die for. I happily drive an hour each way to dine here. For the best daytime treat, try for a table on the terrace for lunch. For a super splurge, stay at the Inn and experience heaven on earth. Oh, and invite me for lunch!

The location is stunning, the food exquisite the service a delight. We had our table outside and enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon. We will definitely go back.

This is a gem. It is a bit off the beaten track but not too far. The view from the terrace is awesome. We had an incredible brunch. Great wine, food, service and view. Really worth the trip. Plan and book in advance. Lots of variety and portions just right. Quality throughout This is what Napa is (or should be) really all about ...

We had a wonderful brunch here on Sunday. Good spot with a beautiful view and good service. Food is excellent and a pretty good deal for what you get. Only gripe is it was quite a hot day and sitting out on the terrace was a bit warmer than ideal. Not the restaurant's fault, but just a forewarning to check the forecast before booking the terrace. Otherwise you're probably better inside where there's air conditioning. Would definitely return.

We were lucky enough to have Auberge as our wedding venue, and while we chose the location for it's spectacular views, our main reason was the fabulous food! We returned a year later to celebrate our anniversary, and I must say, I didn't think our wedding menu could be topped.... but I was wrong. We chose to do the three course since we had lunch in Napa also, but If I had the chance, I think I'd eat less lunch and do the four course. The menu had so many unique options, and each item we had was prepared to perfection. Everything was wonderfully seasoned and prepared, and the service was top notch. I highly recommend going for an earlier dinner so that you can enjoy the views before the sun goes down.

We have had a lovely lunch here but always try to have breakfast at least once when we're in town. The beautiful view of the wine country from the back deck is simply not to be missed! They have many wonderful selections but I usually enjoy the basic American Breakfast & it is always delicious! (They also have a lovely hotel though we have never stayed there.) This restaurant is spectacular. The food is sophisticated as is the service. It is a 3 or 4-course menu, so be prepared. The views are stunning so get there early, otherwise it's too dark and all you have is the light of the moon. Which is also nice but the point is to see the sunset so book early or book the early bird special :) Worst case, you can kill time with another glass of wine from their comprehensive list. Enjoy!

This is my "go-to" restaurant for my birthday luncheon every year. It never fails to make my "special day" even more special. It's in a class by itself. The Napa valley view from our terrace table was incredible. Our appetizers consisted of oysters on the half shell with ginger mignonette, and a delicious lamb tartare served atop a thin parmesan tart with a quail egg and mustard seed vinaigrette. The Day Boat Scallop entrée was heavenly. It was served in a colorful and delicious sweet white corn, romano bean, quinoa, tomato jus. The servers were very attentive and knowledgeable. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my special day.
