A word from Auberge du Pommier
An exquisite French restaurant constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860's woodcutter's cottages. Cozy wood burning fireplaces in winter and lush garden terraces in summer. Inspired modern French cuisine, seasonal tasting menus lunch and dinner, and a 500 label wine selection has something for every palate. One of Toronto's Top 10 Restaurants. "The service at Auberge du Pommier is silken smooth and deliciously attentive; the ambiance is luxe; and the food is very good French technique using impeccable ingredients." • "This was probably by far the best experience we've had at a summerlicious restaurant. The service was outstaning. glasses were always full or water, bread always on the table and the staff friendly and attentive. The food was also great.... The filet mignon and Salmon cooked perfectly and it was very tasty.... I would definitely go back and try their full menu....."

  • "We've always enjoyed each meal at Auberge, and this dinner on a busy summerlicious weekend was no exception! The food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. My son has severe allergies to multiple food, and the waiter/chef accommodated his allergies without problem, and even gave him a special dessert! We will definitely be returning again."

  • "Very good presentation and taste. I didn't read properly, I thought the crispy fish is actual fish fillet and not crushed fish meet in a deep fried ball. I'll remember to ask all the menu items before ordering next time. A bit pricy, but that's why going in the summerlicious or winterlicious time is good. For the past years I didn't see other fish dishes."

  • "Auberge has lived up to the reputation I have heard about. In my opinion finest o&b spot in the city. The filet mignong was like butter, the quality and dining experience was unmatched for me."

  • "Thanks for the great service and delicious meal. I have been to your restaurant twice within one month. Tried the two tasting menus and summerlicious. Many said food in summerlicious is usually not as great. I went to a few. Your restaurant is the only one that I can say food taste as great in both visits. Thus I have recommend your restaurant to all my friends and family. Keep up the great work. I look forward to visit your restaurant again in the near future."

  • "The restuarant was very nice, spacious, where we were seated there was a lot of natural light. I was pleased with my order. Somethings I thought could have been better consideriing I was at Auberge Du Pommier. I expected it to taste different. The shrimp was very good and I'm usually not a fan of shrimp. I usually rate a restuarant on how well the dessert was (I'm a fan of dessert) it was adequate and maybe that was because of the choices we had it was the summerlicious menu."

  • "We were amazed by the fantastic service provided by the staff at Auberge du Pommier. Everyone was attentive and discrete. We were so busy talking and enjoying ourselves that the staff did their best to be unobtrusive. They were wonderful :-) The food service for our Summerlious Lunch was very tastey, perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. We have all ready planned to come back for future staff luncheons. Thank you."

  • "It was good, but the portions were a bit small. I also didn't really enjoy the appetizer, and the chicken cordon bleu was not traditional at all (not stuffed with ham and cheese). However, the chicken was moist and the dessert was delicious. I think the cookies for the ice cream sandwich were storebought, but the candied hazlenuts was a nice touch."

  • "We've done this with our friends for several years now and Auberge has not disappointed us. The staff is friendly and informed and it was a perfect day to eat on the patio. The Summerlicious menu had something for all of us and we were all very impressed with the food."

  • "Usually the food is outstanding but for some reason this time it was just okay. Could be due to Summerlicious and the place was slammed. Buns at the talbe were hard as a dry and hard and my chicken breast was dry."

  • "Presentation fantastic. Service above par - polite, patient, knowledgable, professional. Food excellent. My niece (who lives to cook) was over the top with the food, it's presentation and the descriptions."

  • "We visited this restaurant during Summerlicious. The staff re-arranged the tables on the patio to accommodate our request to eat outdoors. What a beautiful patio with the covered awning. The meal was spectacular and the wine paring completed by the restaurant was a nice treat. Our waiter was extremely knowledgable on the pairings with each of our dinner selections. His sense of humour was refreshing. A wonderful experience and I believe this is my new favourite restaurant."

  • "This time at summerlicious at Auberge du Pommier we opted for the wine pairing with our food. It made a wonderful meal even more special. Thank you"

  • "This is the 3rd time that we (4 adults) have dined at Auberge for Summer and Winterlicious and the first time that we have been disappointed. The shrimp appetizer was nicely plated, but lacked in flavour. 3 of us had the fish, and 1 person had the chicken. The fish was the biggest letdown, it seemed to be a deep fried potato cake, with a few peas and lettuce on the plate. The chicken was so-so. The cheese plate for dessert was mediocre. We all agreed that the restaurant was trying hard to cut costs and it definitely showed. On a brighter note, the service was, as usual, impeccable, with a very charming and efficient waiter."

  • "I have been to this restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday few times a year , we all have good experience with it ,they always try to stick to the principle that" customer is always right " I like how they pamper their customer. :)"

  • "I've been to Auberge before and enjoyed their tasting menus. While I felt the Summerlicious menus were a paired down sampling of what they offer, I was thoroughly impressed by the service, notably our server noticing that it was a bit chilly out and offered me a scarf to wear during dinner as I was wearing a sleeveless dress. That is impeccable attention to detail."

  • "I hadn't been to Auberge du Pommier for several years although I frequent the other O&B venues. It was quite busy for a Tuesday night and the Summerlicious menu was excellent. I started with the refreshing watermelon feta chilled soup (garnished with fresh mint and croutons), followed by a filet that melted in your mouth. A cheese plate topped things off (although it was a little skimpy). I got the table I requested by the window, the service was attentive and the food was wonderfully prepared. All in all, a lovely dinner with my women friends and they were equally delighted."

  • "Dined at Auberge now for the first time during their Summerlicious event, and had dined once before. Was very pleased both times! We sat outside, which was gorgeous. The Summerlicious deal is a great offer. I had the Spinach Salad (appetizer), the Filet Mignon (main dish), and the fromage for the dessert option. My boyfriend chose the Watermelon Gazpacho app. All dishes were fantastic, with perfect portions that left us full, but not stuffed. The drink I had (Housemade Soda - Elderflower), however, was poured in a tiny glass, and although tasty, was not worth $7. Service was wonderful, which is expected in a restaurant like this, despite the fact that we were dining from a menu that was reduced in price. Thank you Auberge du Pommier! :)"

  • "A+++ service, came for summerlicious. Dessert I got was the olive oil cake which was good but the chicken was bland although it was cooked perfectly and tender. Appetizer (shrimp) was flavourful also. Good portions too. I was just dissapointed by the entree"

  • "The service is outstanding, the food this time around was well cooked but lacked imagination. Was a bit disappointed with the ice cream sandwiches and Fish Cake."

  • "I expected more...it was very expensive, even for Summerlicious...4 people with cocktails, wine and tip $400.00....went home hungry....food was good....very small portions...felt cheated."

  • "Went for date night with my husband. The service was great. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We were seated outside and other than a few small bugs, it was perfect. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. My only suggestion is to change the dessert option. I had filet mignon as my main but when it came time for dessert, chocolate chip cookies and nutella spread just doesn't match up. Tasted fine but too simple for that restaurant."

  • "This was my second visit to the restaurant. On my first visit, we were seated in the main dining room. This time, we were seated in what seemed to be an overflow room. The food was good but it was not as outstanding as it had been on my first visit. Also this dining room did not have the ambiance of the main dining room."

  • "We have been using summerlicious to get a glimpse of various high-end restaurant, and Auberge is the only one that never disappoints. Food is magnificent, always with little surprising twist to keep it away from boring, atmosphere is elegant even when full of summerlicious folks like me. Service is refined and attentive without being pretentious. Food head and shoulders above many other restaurants, and that includes a lot of high end places that we have tried over the years. Auberge somehow manages to deliver amazing food and does not skimp even for summerlicious menu - if you manage to go twice for same summerlicious you might get surprised that same menu item from last week is adjusted making it new and refreshing even on second try."

  • "This is the third time I am in this restaurant. Last two visits are great. But this time is really bad. $25 is worth the value of lunch. Food quality is fair, but still not good enough than previous visits. Service persons are very friendly and well trained. However, there is a very big fly in the room, and several small fruit flies. It is really bothers me because they fly around the table and no one is taking care of it. Really bad memory."
