  • "Besides the ambience and the friendly host. Atrio it is not a must go to place. I was very disappointed. The server s approach lacked of hospitality. The entire 3 meal course took forever and my friends entree was cold and mines was smoking hot. Our desserts differed from the one described in the menu. It was suppose to be a chocolate pudding with an apricot glaze. The product that we received was a upside down bread pudding which had no chocolate what so ever and instead of apricot there was sliced banana pieces."

  • "We went to Atrios because we were going to the ballroom dance competition that was being held in the Conrad Hilton. The restaurant is beautiful and architecturally complementary to the rest of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the food was great (with some exotic dishes like wild mushrooms and a very nice variation on gazpacho). I gave 3 stars for service because the server messed up a couple special requests and left us waiting a little too long before taking our order for drinks but it was a very pleasant experience. For Manhattan it was moderately pricey at $60/person (and two of the four of us had small plates) but it was a very convenient way to start a nice evening."

  • "We had an excellent dinner, the burrata was great although it doesn't come with bread, but we asked for it and the waiter was gracious. The meatballs are filling enough, so OK to share as an appetizer. Flank steak cooked to a perfect medium rare, the pasta with lamb was delicious. Included in the meal (restaurant week) we had a delicious and moist bread pudding with peach compote. No complaints!"

  • "Had a wonderful time. The service was beyond excellent (thank you Carlos), the food cooked to perfection, the wine list quite impressive. Fantastic view and atmosphere. We were well taken care of from the time we entered, to the time we left. Well worth every penny. We spent over 2 hours there on a Sunday afternoon and were so relaxed we barely noticed passage of time. Make sure you try the desserts too! We will be back."

  • "We had breakfast here. It was a tad overpriced, even for NYC. The service wasn't good, we waited over 15 minutes for coffee and tea. Our breakfasts didn't arrive until almost an hour and the restaurant was only half full. It is convenient if you are staying at the Conrad (Amazing hotel by the way) but don't go out of your way to eat here."

  • "This is the restaurant of a Hotel near the Hudson walkway. It can be a good find if you are playing with kids outside and need to find a place close by to eat. It is very quiet and mostly empty but there is good light overlooking the walkway. Their orange juice is delicious and their eggs benedict were very good. I swapped the bacon for salmon and they accommodated :-)"

All of the staff were nice, but the real standout was my server (a nice man from Peru, whose name I cannot recall at the moment). He's got a wonderful temperament, is personable, and took real pleasure in helping us through the menu. He's a keeper! "

  • "had the brussel sprouts, spaghetti chitaara and a mushroom pasta. All were delicious, but the sprouts are DELICIOUS - MORE THAN ANYWHERE ELSE. The mushroom pasta was good, but you have to like earthy mushrooms, they are very very earthy - like hen of the woods type of mushrooms. the spaghetti is amazing, i have to say its made very well. "

  • "Found this place online when looking to meet a friend who was taking the PATH to the WTC to meet me. Beautiful hotel. Open, modern restaurant. Excellent food and service. We shared a pasta and a pizza. The pasta was very rich but delicious. Pizza was nicely charred on the bottom. Would love to go back. We did not get alcohol so were able to keep the cost very reasonable."

  • "I come here a lot - for one reason, i love the food. brussel sprouts are my fave and AMAZING! They know me here and always help me get what i want. Spaghetti chittara is also great! Their apps are something that change on season and always good, - note that the olives spread that comes free with the bread is delicious, but not vegetarian - has fish in it. "

  • "We had a late lunch one day and a breakfast here. In both situations the service was spotty. We were seated promptly but it seemed to take an extra long time to get a waiter to take our order. The order was placed, we received our food and when we were done eating it seemed like there was no follow through. It took a long time for the waiter to come around to get us our check. We even had to ask the host for more water or coffee. In both situations the restaurant was not that busy."

  • "Dined here right after the holidays for a business lunch. Great views of the water, service was great, food menu had a good variety. I tried the open faced chicken salad - very good with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the ambience both in how the restaurant was decorated and the views of the water as well. There aren't any signs outside the building to recognize there is a restaurant inside, just pay attention to the addresses when locating the restaurant. Will return again."

They were extremely accommodating with allowing changes in menu items. Truly enjoyed. Conrad Hotel in which it is located is a beautiful venue. Will go back for drinks and dinner."

She loved it. Don't think of Atrio as "just" a hotel restaurant. In my experience it's a good restaurant - that happens to be in a hotel (in this case the Conrad in Battery Park City)."

  • "We did restaurant week last year at Atrio and had a great lunch. Doing it again this year and feel like the quality has gone down. The food on the RW menu was good but not great. Theist disappointing was the dessert. We had a choice of ice cream or bread pudding. Now, I think serving ice cream is kind of cheating but if it's good then I will let that slide. However, the bread pudding was just not making the cut. It was just terrible. It was cold and dense. Not at all pudding like. It was more like bread....."
