Atrio RestaurantAtrio Knows How to Take Care of YouWe loved our experience at Atrio. The service was exceptional-- formal but warm and the same time. The ambience and view were great but the food was amazing. We had the snapper and the scallops and both were great preparations and the best seafood we had over the course of several days at first class Miami restuarants. We recommend having a drink around sunset on the outdoor terrace of the adjoining bar (views of the bay), and then requesting a window table in the restaurant for a sparkling view of downtown Miami at night. They brought out bread w/3 dips (delicious orange butter), the evening 'Muse" which was an amazing cheese croquet w/some type of chile sauce (to die for) Apps- ceviche (super yum) & soft shelled crab on fried green tomato (extra yum). Then for entrees-grilled snapper with pink grapefruit salsa + hubs-grouper with Yuca fries which he refused to share. For dessert - chocolate cheesecake (best), donut bread pudding (good). All service was really top notch. Extra mile without being obtrusive. Even valet parking was free with restaurant validation. Current hit music played softly in the dining area at the perfect volume to hear but not to disrupt (kudos). The service was timely, recommendations were appreciated, food was very good and pace was perfect. It was a two-hour meal from sit-down to departure. The maitre d' and the wait staff were courteous, professional, and eager to make sure that our needs were optimally satisfied. I asked for a change in my dish after it had already been served. They responded immediately without question and then when paying the check made our glasses of wine complimentary because we had been inconvenienced! This is after they had already served us two complimentary glasses of champagne since I had let them know in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary. Furthermore, the desert included a plate with a chocolate script of "Happy Anniversary".
