Diner Reviews
  • "Relaxed & warm ambience. We were seated within minutes of arriving at are reservation time. Our server was attentive & quick to obtain our drinks & appetizer. Food, as usual, was hot on arrival & delicious. Can't say enough about the carrot cake!"

  • "Seating was about 20 minutes beyond our reservation. We were offered a table in the bar which turned our to be a blessing. Even with a full bar, we were able to have a normal conversation with our friends and keep tabs on the basketball game. Food was great, service was spot on with one exception. Being in the restaurant business myself, a server should NEVER ask "shall I bring the dessert tray?". They should just bring it. We would not gave had dessert if he hadn't of brought the tray. We have dined here several times and have not been disappointed."

  • "Called on Friday to get reservation for 6 at 6. Was told no reservations available but went online sat morning and had no trouble getting one and the restaurant was not extremely busy. Aside from that food was pretty good. People were divided. One felt wedding soup was too salty another thought it was fine. Pasta from two different atrias were very different. One good the other not as good. Desserts very good. Server very nice, helpful, patient with 6 people Will go back for sure"

  • "I went on a Saturday with a reservation at 8pm, and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. My waiter took my wife's and my orders in reasonable time, but our dinners took longer than what seemed normal. Salads and dinners were served by someone other than our waiter. The wine is very expensive by the glass for a 6 oz. pour. Overalll, there is no real good reason for us to return based on this visit. We had been there before and had better service, but the waiting was the same. The dining room is nice, but this visit gave us both a good reason to think about going to other restaurants where the service is more consistent and better."

  • "We have always enjoyed our dining experience at Atrias, whether dining outside in nice weather or in a dining room. The food is always excellent and we particularly enjoy Oktoberfest in the fall. It can get crowded and the very small foyer often cannot accommodate those waiting. I would recommend reservations."

  • "We have been to Atria's Peters Twp 2 times in the last month and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. The wait staff is particularly capable and willing to provide the best service. We are definitely putting this restaurant on our go-to list."

  • "We enjoy dining at Atrias but this particular evening at 7 it was very noisy. This is not typically the case, but for some reason it was this time. We will still return as we love the place."

  • "The salmon was cooked just right. The glaze used was a little thick. I would suggest a thinner glaze with a little more taste. It would help if the glaze was applied to the rice which was a little clumpy."

  • "The food was great! We did sit by the bar and it was cold there. The AC was on and it was only 40 degrees out. Would not sit by the bar again."

  • "As usual, our service from Stefan and the ambiance of Atria's were beyond compare. My chicken parmesan entree served over spaghetti, fresh warm bread, and homemade chips, were delicious. My wife's macaroni and cheese with crab was a disappointment, overpriced at $18.99 for a small portion of penne in sauce with a tiny amount of crab, a dish bearing no resemblance to the traditional version which she expected. She ordered a side chopped salad for an additional $3.49, and raved about it, the highlight of her meal. One comes to be known by the fine staff of Atria's and one's preferences noted and respected, another way in which the red carpet is put out for each guest. I was sad to learn that chicken pot pie has been removed from the menu."

  • "Our only negative was that the waitress was overloaded - one more staff on the floor would have given Atria's outstanding marks. Food was the outstanding item - taste and presentation - of the evening. Thank you Atria's."

  • "Waitress was helpful and friendly. I have never been disappointed in the food at any of the Atria's that I dine in."

  • "We stop at Atria"s often at many of their locations usually just for spur of the moment. The Lobster bisque is always outstanding. We had a particularly pleasant waitstaff. She did a great job. We'll go back."

  • "We went for our birthdays and were surprised with a gift card our children had phoned in from out of town. We enjoyed the lobster tail and lump crab along with a wonderful chianti. Our server was wonderful and Linda came over and told us how she felt about our children's wonderful surprise. All in all it was a very special evening."

  • "It was definitely a great find to use Open Table. We got right in at our exact reservation time. The service was excellent and the food was good. We will definitely go back."

  • "atria's is a good, reliable spot for a nice meal. The pot roast nachos are always great and many tables order them. The reuben is very hearty and tasty, and salads are large and attractive. We redeemed a $20 off promotional coupon."

  • "Enjoyed having my birthday dinner with my husband and friends and we were able to converse without straining to hear, enjoy the good food, drink wine and to top it off was served a dessert which was on the house and large enough to serve the four of us. It was an enjoyable evening for all of us."

  • "The food was excellent. I ordered chicken marsala. Apparently they changed their recipe and offered to make it the old way for me. They did and it was delicious. I commented to my husband on the way home about the excellent service."

  • "We enjoy this neighborhood restaurant each time we visit. The food is consistent and the staff is nothing short of excellent. The wait for Sunday lunch is sometimes quite long without a reservation. Never hurts to reserve if you have a time constraint."

  • "Had reservation for 6:15 - we arrived a few minutes early, but didn't get seated until after 6:30. Sorry, but why have a reservation if you are going to make someone wait anyway? My husband's food was almost inedible. He ordered the spicy sausage penne - the pasta wasn't even close to being cooked and then must have been placed under a heat lamp as the edges were all dried out. Awful."

  • "We dine at this restaurant once every few months and have not been disappointed. The food and service are consistently good."

  • "I've had several great meals in the past 30 days at the Pleasant Hills location. But last night in McMurray was just sort of average. Service was good but it was quiet do to snow and cold and it seemed that the chef just didn't have his A game going. My chopped salad was ice cold but bland and rather flavorless. And while my twin medallions of beef were good and well cooked, the peppercorn sauce was NOT and the crab cakes were over cooked and no where near the caliber of full size crab cake dinner that I had last time at the other location. My invited guests had a Greek Salad and the Pork Chop Tuesday night special. They ate most of their meals and 1/2 of the huge pork chop did go home, but they were not raving--nor complaining."

  • "The only negative to the evening was that although many had resrvations, they were very slow at seating. It would appear that they take more resrvations than they can handle. Our reservation for 6:15 didn't have us seated until 6:40. That would seem to defeat the purpose of taking the reservations."

  • "The waiting area was jammed tonight, but thankfully, my wife and I were seated within ten minutes of our reservation time. My meat loaf entree, my wife's steak pizziola (the first time we had ordered these entrees), our alcoholic beverages, side dishes, homemade chips, and fresh bread were tremendous and beautiful. The gracious service from the affable and charming Stefan was excellent, as always. The star of the show is proprietor Frank Sam, the host with the most. It is a privilege to know him. He always makes the evening special and when he is not present, there is something missing. I felt smart having an Open Table reservation as those without a reservation were being quoted wait times of as much as in excess of one hour!"

  • "We don' like that a salad or soup does not come with your meal. I also didn't get a potato with my lobster tail. The African lobster tail was delicious."

  • "First, we had a reservation for two at 6:30 and weren't seated until 6:50 PM. Unfortunately, their waiting area is one of the worst around. They've changed a few things on their menu within the last couple of months. Their Chicken Marsala (which I previously touted as the best in the Burgh) has been changed from bow tie pasta to mashed potatoes, now includes a much richer sauce and is no longer the best. This is disappointing. How I used to look forward to the leftovers on the day after!! Also, their salad choices have changed and are no longer as pleasing to us. The former Parmesan crusted chicken salad is gone. Boo hoo! And we think they changed the Cobb salad too. What's a Cobb Salad without avocado? It's a regular chicken salad."

  • "This regular Atria's diner will sound like a broken record, but here it is: great food, attractive, comfortable atmosphere, with a serving staff that is second to none. The items we enjoyed during this visit included house Chardonnay, homemade chips, fresh, warm bread with whipped butter, chicken parmesan with linguini, twin filets, and a huge slice of carrot cake which is as beautiful as it is delicious. As good as all of this is, there is the extraordinary Dana, the server who is an integral part of making great every meal in which we have the pleasure of her serving us. The more my wife and I dine out, the more important fine service and a welcoming and gracious staff is in our desire to return. Dana personifies superior service."

  • "McMurray location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When I called about the reservation issue, they were quick to make arrangements. The night of the dinner, they sat our party in a section behind the bar which we thought would be noisy but noticed it was rather quiet which was very nice. Only a couple mishaps with orders/food but everything tasted wonderful!! Definitely recommend!"

  • "I've never had a bad meal at this Atria's. Service is usually on par with any nice restaurant. The open dining area leaves a little to be desired for my taste because I prefer more secluded and private seating, but it's still a very nice place to eat. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is set to match."

  • "This is twice now, and there will not be a third. We used to love Atria's. Maybe it is just this location. But, the service is very slow, the management clueless, and the food terrible. Save your money and go somewhere else."

  • "We were seated almost immediately at our reserved time and the server was there is just a couple of minutes for our drink order. The food was delicious as usual and at our table before we were finished with the soup. My elderly mother was unable to be there, so we asked for her meal to go, and it was boxed up and ready as we finished our pie. Our server was very attentive on this busy day and our meal was awesome. It was a very good experience."

  • "As always, everything came together for the perfect meal: immediate seating, ambience, service, the cuisine, and the beverages. The servers at Atria's are outstanding, but there is no one quite like Dana, a gem. She is extremely friendly, always with a smile, solicitous, efficient, and delightful. No one could make us feel like more welcome and appreciated guests than she. The only downsides of this restaurant are the non-existent waiting area (where we rarely spent much time), few vegetarian options, and the limited availability of the best-anywhere Chicken Pot Pie. Our chicken parmesan, tortellini, homemade potato chips, wine, beer, and beautifully=presented chocolate brownie sundae were all tremendous."

  • "We had a reservation for 7:15 however it was at least 30-40 minutes until we were seated. They seem to have difficulty with this. There is a brand new menu which was fine. We all enjoyed our meals however the pot roast nachos aren't what they used to be, smaller portion and significantly less pot roast. Very disappointing. The highlight of the evening was dessert, we had a fantastic piece of carrot cake. It was large enough for us to share 4 ways."

  • "Five us dined at the Peter's Township Atria's this past week. We were waited on quickly and courteously by our waitress and a young lady she was training. Both had a smile and seemed happy that we were there. Bread and butter and water were immediately set on the table. They gave us plenty of time to make our selections and the food arrived in perfect timing giving us time to eat salads and soup before the main course was served. We had a variety of food from a hamburger and cod sandwich to the talapia and pasta and the pasta with tomato vodka sauce. Everyone said their food was delicioius. The hamburger was a little messey but enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!"

  • "Pleasant ah ills Crab Cakes are so much better than Peters township restaurant. Wouldn't have thought that the same chain would differ so much. To much filler in the Peters Township crab cakes, when you say lump crab cakes, don't add so much filler!"

  • "Delicious filet mignon, chicken marsala, homemade chips, asparagus and carrot cake in a marvelous, comfortable atmosphere with excellent service from the easygoing, charming, and efficient Stefan. We enjoyed a visit from proprietor Frank Sam, who was as gracious and welcoming as ever. The only glitch was that after two tries, I did not receive the beer I ordered: a dark draft, but that was a small matter in an otherwise great evening. My wife and I were seated immediately with our Open Table reservation, able to bypass the crowded waiting area. We were provided a lovely booth in which both of us had a birds eye view of the dining room, the best seat in the house. Each time we dine at Atria's we say that we must visit more often! Bravo!"

  • "When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our server was excellent, very friendly and interactive with us. As for the food, it was very good. All 6 of us in our party were very pleased with the food and with the attention given to our table by our server and the other staff. We will definitely be returning to this location to dine."
