Atria's - Mt. LebanonMothers Day SpecialI took my wife to Atrias for their Mothers Day brunch. We were seated promptly and the special menu was varied enough to provide a choice for anyone. My wife loved the lump crabcakes and I found the pork gorgonzola to be excellent. The service was very good. The staff were attentive but did not hover and we were given plenty of time to enjoy our meal.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers DayBeautiful quaint local family restaurant. We arrived early for our reservations but were seated immediately. Our young waiter guided us through the brunch menu which was large but reasonably priced: two members of our party ordered the ham steak, and were impressed by the generous portions. They couldn't stop raving about the accompanying lyonnaise potatoes. I ordered the banana-pecan french toast which was heavenly -- nicely firm and chewy, covered in a buttery caramel sauce that was rich without being cloying. The atmosphere was casual but comfortable. We were able to enjoy our food without being rushed.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat jobGreat job by the staff. My partner and I celebrated a belated Valentine's dinner.
Seated in the upstairs atrium, the localized scenery was magical.
Intimate tables surrounded for floor to ceiling windows with snow gently fallen outside.
We enjoyed the full spectrum Valentine's Dinner, including a drinks.
The salad was fresh and crisp with apples, pecans and cranberries.
I had the petit filet medium rare with crab cakes. Most restaurants do not provide a true medium rare so it is always a joy at Atria's.
My partner had coconut shrimp, which as big as a palm and coating with real coconut.

The downstairs is small and crowded but the crowd is always good natured, usually leading to pleasant conversation with new friends. The service is outstanding. The hardest part is deciding what you want from the menu. Although not a huge menu, there's a nice variety. It doesn't matter what you choose, it's bound to be good.2/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
