As in past visits, we were warmly greeted, seated right away, asked for drink order, all in excellent time. The food was expertly prepared and the portions were well measured......no one left hungry. We tried the wine specials and were very pleased as well. We had lunch at Nan one day and dinner at Atmosphere and Rathbun's for dinner the next two days. We loved all three but both agreed that if we could only go back to one, it would be Atmosphere. We even went back for Sunday brunch before leaving town.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMBest French food in AtlantaThe quality of the food at Atmosphere is infinitely better than the food at more popular restaurants such as Bistro Niko and FNB. The moules marinieres (mussels) and truite amandine (trout with almonds) are among the best I have eaten anywhere. The owners are very warm and friendly. The staff is very professional and polite. Something as simple as a Croque Monsieur (grilled cheese) becomes a work of delicious art. We love dining on the patio! But the food is the star.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMA little slice of Paris in the hearThis is an authentic French owned mom and pop (and son) operation, with delicious French cuisine in a charming 1920's vintage bungalow with a terrace for outdoor dining, conveniently located on Piedmont Road a few blocks north of Piedmont Park and the Botanical Garden. It is a great brunch spot, and equally reliable and for dinner. They can accommodate private events in a back room of the house, and the noise level allows for comfortable conversation, a rare and wonderful thing in the otherwise ridiculously noisy restaurant scene in Atlanta.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this restaurant! The food is always outstanding. The chef's soups are always great, and the escargot is the best ever. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious (Escargot, Eggs Benedict, and Profiteroles, accompanied by the Bellruche Cotes-Du-Rhone). The Server, Daniel, was friendly, helpful and attentive. He excelled at what he did and added to the excellence of the dining experience. There is much to love about Paris, especially the passion and attention the Parisians bring to food preparation.
