I love the Sushi! Had the Monster s for the first time yum- o! Also, had the fried oyster light, crip and the use of fresh oysters made it have a great taste and a unique texture. On this visit my only complaint was I ordered gumbo but I did not specify small or large and I was brought a small bowl. When it was brought to the table I was shocked because I have ordered in the past and never received the personal size. I always order meals my husband and I will share. GREAT sushi, very large pieces and excellent presentation/preparation. GREAT fish options and sides. soup and salad forgettable. desserts excellent. waitress excellent. disappointed that we had requested an open table reservation for a table against a wall bec. of noise and hearing impaired guests; none were available which made it VERY difficult to hear. its on the noisy side due to high open ceilings.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMTop drawer! Had to probe a bit for the market specials - they had some beautiful African Prawns that didn't even get mentioned. Bread didn't show up until we finally asked. Oysters on the half shell were perhaps the tiniest I have ever seen - who ever was doing the shucking must have been their first day on the job. Caesar Salad and wedge salad were both great. The fried seafood platter was fantastic - very light breading - perfectly fried and some of the best scallops and shrimp we've had in a long time. Blackened Chilean Sea Bass was also excellent - moist and flaky - just enough heat. The portion was a bit small for the price. All of our party of four had different dishes and every one was great! We started off with Rock and Roll and the Ultimate Roll sushi. Both were delicious. The Wasabi-Panko seared tuna steak that I had was the best tuna I have ever eaten and that is saying a lot since I have traveled all over the world. The wine by the glass list is extensive, which just shows that they are customer oriented. The chocolate coconut bread pudding is outstanding! It was ridiculously loud. I literally had to shout across the table in order for my boyfriend to hear me.
