Every time my husband and I go here we say to each other -"wow, they really know what they're doing. The service here is excellent!" I can't say enough about the staff and the level of service we have come to expect. The food is superb. Literally everything we have tried. Last time we just stuck to the sushi for our main course because it is so mind blowing. It is refreshing to know there are still great places in this city with excellent food and ambiance, yet also with a humble and welcoming staff.

Have tried to branch out and try other restaurants when in the Met/Columbus Circle area - but the fabulous Atlantic Grill continues to draw me back. The three course price fixe lunch is always wonderful and all the selections make it difficult to choose. Terrific service and wonderful ambiance.

So often i have dinner at ATlantic Grill before a performance at Lincoln Center. The restaurant has always delivered. This time, i made reservations to have dinner with a long time friend because it's reliably good food and good location. How wrong i was! Table was excellent. Service friendly and efficient and professional. Lovely new waitress. BUT I purposely ordered scallops cause i don't cook them at home. It is not easy to cook scallops, but i trust At Grill to get it right. WRONG! They were like rubber bands. When the waiter asked how it was, i told him and he promptly replaced them with my second choice, tuna. I like it rather rare which is a usual way to serve them. The center was nearly frozen cold. Surely you guys can do better!!!

Food quality excellent especially the grilled octopus, a must have! Everything we ate was delicious and presented beautifully. We were initially served by someone who appeared to be not of the regular wait staff, thus, the specials weren't recited, bread finally arrived well into our dinner and only because the new (regular) waiter noticed it missing. Otherwise, staff was charming, the ambiance is delightful, the wine excellent and for us, the best place for dinner in the Lincoln Center area.

Not as good as in the past. Perhaps they have lost the head chef. Cherrystones great, crab cakes mushy, cod over spiced, chicken poor, desserts still fabulous. Great service.

"Noise Level" (above) should have two other categories: "Overwhelming" and "Intolerable." I'm delighted that this restaurant seems to be doing a thriving business, but I will not go there again - at least not on Saturday night. The noise level was "Intolerable."

Following the Circus at Lincoln Center, we had reservations for a 7:15 seating with our four grandchildren, ages not quite 3, 4, 9 and 11. After a short wait, we were seated at a large round table, given two booster seats and the kids were offered their own menus and an assortment of things to keep them busy. (Included in the assortment was a small package of colorful little wax wrapped sticks which kept the youngest kids entertained the whole meal, and which actually made it back to Brooklyn and to brunch the next morning!). Excellent food, wonderfully patient waiter and staff, attention to detail (large and "small"), quick service = happy and we'll behaved kids = relaxed and grateful grandparents = a memorable day in NYC! TY, AGrille!

What a consistently great restaurant Atlantic Grill is! They have the very best staff in town and they always make me feel welcome whether at the bar or enjoying a marvelous meal in their beautiful dining room. The food just seems to keep getting better all the time. Their raw bar is simply out of this world. I recently had their shaved vegetable salad with perfectly cooked salmon on the top with a side of spinach and really loved it. It was the perfect diet friendly lunch and I will be having it again. Thank you to all the great staff for your wonderful service. I can't wait until my next fun time at Atlantic Grill!!!

Atlantic Grill never disappoints. Their servers are top notch - attentive and knowledgeable. We have never ever had either a bad meal or a lax server. Even the bus boys are polite and efficient. The Atlantic Grill restaurant is stylish and well located near Lincoln Center. The service while amiable lacked the professionalism and crispness appropriate to the setting. Food was well prepared but uninspired. The price reflects the elegance of the setting but is a bit excessive for the quality of the food and service. Nonetheless in this tres chic neighborhood it is not out of line. In short, I have no real complaint but I am looking for alternatives which are a bit less crusty, somewhat more adventurous and/or offer better value.

Rooms toward the back of the restaurant offer pleasant ambiance and relatively quiet dining, Menue offers a good selection of small plates, accommodating light eaters. Bar area is lively for those who are looking for that experience but very noisy for those of us who prefer being able to carry on a conversation.

We went EARLY (5pm!) so we were one of th first tables seated. The menu has a variety of "small plates" from which you can make a dinner. Very unusual flavors: warm kale caesar salad for example! I had the Mahi-Mahi special which had a very soft and flavorful mango, pineapple, honey yogurt sauce... very tender and aromatic! The service was excellent: very attentive without being overbearing. The sushi starters are also made to order divine. Overall, we had a terrific time and by 7pm when we left the room was FULL with a ton of people waiting to be seated. Very popular for good reason!

A fine place to entertain a vegetarian friend, where we could get the sushi he wanted as well as more standard fare for the non-sushi eaters. Great wines, attentive service, and an array of appealing appetizers and creative sides made us both happy. It's a great choice for the Lincoln Center crowd, but even better if you can go after the "curtain crush crowd" and just enjoy good food and a genial, neighborhood vibe.

Nice looking place but very poor service. We waited 45 minutes without any food and were told that "a manager was looking into our order." After a full hour had passed without any food, it dawned on us that no other tables in the dining room had any food either! Clearly the kitchen had shut down for some reason. Our waiter and a "manager" refused to answer our questions about whether there was a problem in the kitchen or if our food was in fact coming, so we had no choice but to leave, hungry and disappointed with the staff's poor communication. Had they acknowledged that there was a problem in the kitchen, we likely would have been happy to wait longer. Instead we got stonewalled.

Had dinner here after arriving into the City from upstate. All of us were out of towers that were in NY for a wedding and were looking for a restaurant to have a "nice" dinner. Thanks to Open Table we found this gem of a restaurant. We sat in the bar and the server was very knowledgable and friendly. He recommended the Oysters of the day which were fantastic! We ordered different entrees and split everything family style. Glad we did because the food was great! We also enjoyed a few bottles of the Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir - excellent!
