We chose perfectly well by going to Atlantic Grill. We were seated promptly in the rear of the restaurant, a quiet environment. We were served an amuse-bouche of potato-leek soup and it was a delicious precursor to our main course, hazelnet encrusted scallops. They were sweet, perfectly textured and prepared with sliced asparagus, leeks in a very light mustard sauce. Our server was attentive and brought the check with my mint tea as requested. One of the managers introduced himself with us, checking on our experience and offering dark chocolate truffle cookies as a thank you for coming. Feels more spacious than the east side Atlantic Grill where the tables are closer to each other. Especially convenient when you're attending a performance at Lincoln Center, as we were. After looking at our reservation notes, he told David to escort us to a wonderful booth in the back. David was extremely helpful and organized our next reservation the following week. Our waitress was sweet and our food arrived in a timely manner. The Branzini was cooked perfectly and the broccolini was done just the way we ordered the vegetable. If you are attending a presentation at Lincoln Center, the Atlantic Grill is perfect. Staff always asks if you have show to see and what time the curtain rises. As a result they are totally accommodating. But the highlight is the food. From Sushi to seafood in all ways of preparation, the Atlantic Grill cannot be beat. And it has the perfect NYC ambiance.

The one that had raisin in it was so good that we ordered more of those. Grilled branzino and atlantic cod were both delicious and the tuna shrimp maki roll was amazing! Salted caramel cakes as dessert was a little too sweet but it was yummy enough to end the meal in a perfect way. When checking in with my reservation, I was asked if I was going to a performance and what time it started. Good start. The wait staff was efficient and always seemed to be there at the right time. We were out in plenty of time to get to the performance.
The trout was nicely prepared and very moist and well seasoned. No hassle was presented when we asked for a vegetable substitution (allergies!). Then there was the molten chocolate cake desert!!!
