  • "Carrie is a must request server in this great Boston eatery."

  • "Wife and I had sea bass, not bad, hard to ruin sea bass, was fresh , meal was fine but can be had elsewhere for less, one had steak and thought it was really great, oysters were fresh and was ok, nothing wrong just a bit pricy, probably won't return , they will not miss us as is very crowded all the time."

  • "Just want to say that my daughter and I had a wonderful lunch. Being a restaurant week, I made sure that I made a reservation. They seated us right away even though it was packed and we were 10 mins early. Our server, Daniel M. did such a wonderful job explaining the menu. Clams perpadelle was very delicious, the pasta taste like it was made from scratch. Our desert Chocolate Cherry creep and Ice cream profiterole made the experience unforgettable. Thank you!"

  • "Felt that the crab cakes were just o k. The sweet corn was delicious but rather overwhelmed the flavour of the crab. The tuna was excellent."

  • "Food and service were fantastic. Highly recommended!"

  • "The fresh catch of the day was a fantastic meal choice, with my swordfish steak being perfectly grilled and seasoned. The following chocolate marquis was heaven on the tongue. Combined with the great service, would heartily recommend to anyone looking for a dinner to impress and delight the entire table."

  • "I had been there many times before for dinner. The food is always outstanding. I loved the brunch. The restaurant is a little noisy but I guess it is part of the ambiance."

  • "I have been to Atlantic Fish a number of times, at different times during the day and evening. I find it to be one of the most consistently good restaurants in Boston. Great food and location and a menu that is not overwhelming. The fish has always been fresh."

  • "We had dinner here while visiting Boston for the first time. It came highly recommended by friends who know Boston well. We were not disappointed. The dining room is beautifully decorated with a casual but classy feel. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. My husband ordered the filet mignon with shrimp. Both were excellent! I ordered the crab cakes, one of my favorite items to order. They were as good as any I have had anywhere. Sour Cherry Cobbler with vanilla ice cream and excellent coffee finished off the meal. I highly recommend Atlantic Fish!"

  • "We found this on trip advisor before we came to Boston and booked early based on reviews! So pleased we did, as I am nots sure you would get a walk in! It was fantastic, flavoursome I can't fault anything about our visit, would certainly recommend a visit."

  • "Traveling from the west coast to Boston, we wanted good seafood in a nice setting as we were celebrating an anniversary. We were seated immediately at the window table we had requested for 7:15 pm. Our waiter was perfect with good suggestions. and our food was superb. This is only the second restaurant we have found that serves outstanding grilled swordfish (the other being in California). My Chilean sea bass, pan fried, was astoundingly melt-in-your-mouth and cooked to perfection. The sides of corn pudding were a nice unique touch. The fresh-baked bread here of several kinds, is awesome. This dining experience was so special that we returned for brunch the following day and enjoyed lobster roll and crab cake sandwich."

  • "This was the first time I dined and this restaurant and choose it because of the positive reviews. I was not dissappointed. It's in a great location convenient to the hotels and and convention center in the area. The atmosphere was pleasant and energetic. The food was fresh and prepared wonderfully with ample portion sizes. I would definitely go back when I make my next visit to Boston."

  • "My daughter and I dined on a busy Friday night - luckily we had reservations. We both had the fresh salmon with 2 sides. Both our meals were cooked to perfection! Oysters and clam chowder were our starters - again excellent. Our waiter recommended a peppermint ice cream dessert that was fabulous! Only downside, our starter plates were still on our table when our main dishes came. A little juggling for the wait staff."

  • "Came here last night with my mom as she was visiting Boston and wanted good seafood. The food was absolutely phenomenal. She had the chilean sea bass grilled with asparagus and the gnocchi which was excellent. I went with the special that evening which was striped bass served with a lobster risotto and asparagus. The portions were great size and we both left there completely stuffed. Our server was Chris and he was very friendly but not too overbearing as he allowed my mom and I to have time to catch up with one another. We sat in a nice booth towards the back where it was a little quieter. Everyone there from the waitstaff to the food runners to the bussers were very friendly and professional. Can't rave enough about this restaurant."

  • "We were in Boston for one week and we visited this restaurant in 3occasions. That's how amazed we were the first time round. Excellent food, great atmosphere, knowledgable staff and an overall great experience. We would highly recommend it."

  • "The location and food was great. However, I had indicated on my reservation that this was a special occasion - my boyfriend's birthday and asked if they could do a dessert with a candle. I even called the restaurant a couple days before to confirm and again mentioned the birthday. I was told they do a dessert with a candle and write happy birthday on the plate and that it was already in the notes that this was a birthday reservation. We did not get anything for my boyfriend's birthday. I waited for a dessert with a candle to come but all I got was the bill. Very disappointing and this small detail ruined it for me. I felt really bad that my boyfriend didn't get a candle to blow out on his special day."

  • "Was in Boston for abusiness visit. I live on the water in NJ and summertime is fresh seafood time. I wnated to try Atlantic Grill, but I am very critical of seafood compared to what I am able to obtain where I live. everything was fresh and outstanding...raw clams on halfshell, blackened swordfish and the striped bass special (by my two colleagues) was outstanding. The only comment to the negative is that the food came out REALLY quick. Ut was crowded and I understand trying to turn tables over but the main course was at our table as soon as we finished our appetizers....MUCH too fast...SLOW DOWN...."

  • "Second night of seafood for us on a short trip to Boston (first was Island Creek Oyster Bar, also excellent). A bit more formal atmosphere here, and also had a nice patio out front. Very extensive menu of seafood, as well as some surf and turf options. Our server, "Lauren P", was very friendly, accommodating, and professional, as were the rest of the serving team that assisted. All of our meals were good, including chowders and lobster bisque. Cold lobster on my wife's salad was OK, but not excellent. Seafood Fra Diavolo was outstanding. Creme Brûlée was very nice, but surprisingly more pudding- than custard-like (hadn't had it like that before, but we liked it)."

  • "Atlantic Fish is a bustling restaurant located on Bolyston St. We did not have a reservation. Without a reservation, we were told the only way we could get a table that night was to wait :45 minutes for patio seating. The host staff at Atlantic Fish was excellent. They took our bags, locked them up for us and suggested we go for a walk down Newberry St to kill time. We did that and returned :45 min later. As it turned out, we ended up waiting another :45 min, as the front patio turnover was slower than expected. During the remainder of our wait, the host staff kept us fully informed and eventually got us seated inside. Excellent food, excellent staff. Well worth the wait."

  • "Breathtaking presentation and fish perfectly cooked ( = not too much!!!). Very goog balance between proteins and greens. Excellent wine and service. My husband ate the salmon, I ate the Cod with lobster salad and my mother in law ate the risotto with all the seafood : WOW! BRAVO! We had a reservation outside but we arrived late so we had to sit inside. It is much too noisy in the beggining but after 20 minutes your ears ajust... (That's why I prefer the terrasse, and for the light too. But it's our fault!) I propose a gourmet kids menu with salmon, salad, mashed potatoes, etc. Like any other retaurants, the kids menu is not very healthy."

  • "My boyfriend and I had dinner here our first night in boston and it was such a great experience! The resturant was packed when we got there so we were glad we made reservations. Their mixed drinks are delicious too, I got a pear martini. We started out with the crab and artichoke dip, it was a huge appetizer and so good! I got grilled salmon for my entree and my boyfriend got blackened cod bth were super fresh and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was really nice and attentive for the most part, but since it was busy we didn't see too much of him. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will be back again!"

  • "We were there for a late night dinner and having to tried Island Creek Oyster and thought we would give Atlantic Fish a try. When we arrived at the restaurant the hostess didn't even greet us nor look at our faces. Overall the food is decent but service is horrible."

  • "Delicious fresh seafood. Time between appetizer and entre too short even though the kitchen times 15 minutes between courses. As the waiter was busy with other tables the restaurant Needed some one else besides the waiter refilling water."

  • "Located right in the heart of the Copley/Back Bay area.... Great fish menu, food was tasty and presented nicely. Atmosphere nice although we were at a table with a lot of traffic back and forth with servers. Service was really good. Waitress really knew the menu and sold us on an appetizer that was delicious. Only disappointment were the drinks that arrived rather plainly and my margarita was really weak, and I am a light weight and don't normally complain of such things! Also make reservations early as they do book up. Overall, an enjoyable meal and would recommend and plan to return!"

  • "We had reservations at 5PM and were seated immediately. The waitress Lauren came right away and served us drinks. We had a couple of appetizers which were excellent. Two of us had the salmon special and they said it was very good. I had the Ciopino and Nancy had the lobster thermidor. Both of these dishes were gargantuan and delicious. The wine list was very reasonable with a great selection. I must say this was one of my best meals. Great Job Atlantic Fish."

  • "We loved it. Even the bread was to die for... The only thing I questioned was the cod... I fish offshore and there's not enough cod out there to supply restaurants..."

  • "I had early dinner August 8, 2014. Table for 1.Table was ready upon arrival. Good table, near the front, with view of room and bar, and comings and goings of guests and servers. Packed. Busy, as it should be, in a busy area/neighborhood. Great service. I've never seen so many staff/servers at the front of a restaurant this size. I order daily catch Atlantic lemon sole. Well prepared, attractive plate but not as flavorful as I expected. As an alternative to Atlantic Fish I recommend nearby seafood restaurants: B & G Oysters 550 Tremont St. and Island Creek Oysters Bar, 500 Commonwealth Ave. I was surprised oyster stew not on menus."

  • "While it was a busy night, the noise level was exceptionally high. That being said, the food and service certainly made up for the noise. The shrimp and scallop risotto was fabulous!!!"

  • " The third time here. Clam chowder bread bowl is always baked fresh along with the bread. Butter is always soft and the service is fast. Price matches the food but it's always reasonable."

  • "visiting Boston and dined here. It was wonderful. Julie the bartender was great as was Lauren, our server. The Seared tuna was nearly perfect with a bit too much sesame seeds on them but I enjoyed it immensely. The wine list was incredible and had a thoroughly good time. The crab cakes were YUMMY!"

  • "I went there with my GF. I had Lobster Diavolo and she had salmon filet. Both were very delicious and service was fast and nice. I had high expectation because of good reviews and high price, and they met every expectations I had! I would go back to Atlantic Fish anyday :)"

  • "We chose Atlantic Fish Co. for our last night in Boston. They exceeded our expectations! 5 star all the way, in fact, part of the experience seemed surreal. I have traveled all over the country as well as some international travel....this restaurant is on my top 5 list. Our waiter was Jim. Laabstah was done to perfection!"
