Our only complaint was that we were seated next to a leak in the roof. I'd heard of it for many years but hadn't made it there until last week to celebrate my birthday. My table was ready without a lengthy wait and they recognized my special occassion note readily. The yellow fin tuna carpaccio was superb with just the right amount of salt, chives and olive oil drizzle. We also had the crabmeat fritters which were amazingly large, lightly battered and fried lump crab yielding to a creamy spicyness inside with remoulade sauce. So many entree selections to choose from but I decided to get the broiled seafood platter and was not disappointed. The crab cake was phemonenal, as were the scallops and salmon. Seeing mixed reviews after my first trip there, I wondered if it was a fluke. But after a second trip, during which we brought very developed palates, I knew that this place is truly good. They serve top-notch seafood. Sure, the preparations are unadorned and the side selections tend towards simple. But that's the beauty of good fish! It should taste like itself, and it's criminal to overwhelm it with too much seasoning. Blackened, sauteed, or Hong Kong-style, these dishes are awesome. I'd venture to say that their crab cakes are among some of the best in Atlanta.
