Our party had a chicken special, the lamb shank, salmon, and beef. The appetizers were OK but we were trying something new so probably not to our taste. The service was unparalled. We were greeted and seated right away even though we were 30 minutes early. The waiter was very knowledgable and friendly. The food was served hot and in very short order. The owner came by the table several times and chatted and made us feel welcome. A bonus was there was parking right next door ($6.00 for the evening). We have stayed at Hotel Andra on several occasions but have never been to Assiaggo. Well, we will definitely be back. The place has a great energy and the staff are all very friendly. The food was excellent. We wanted to try something close to the hotel. Assaggio lived up to its reputation. We had excellent service, the food was delicious and came quickly, the host recommended a local Washington state wine, and our experience was fantastic.
