This was first time visiting Assiago. Overall, we had a good experience. However, the restaurant layout made it impossible for a couple to have a conversation. We heard more of the other couples conversations because he tables were too close (just about 1.5 feet apart). The food was good but the calamari wasn't the greatest. The portion was small and had a little calamari and a lot of filler items, so not too impressive.

The food as Assaggio was spectacular. Their menu had a variety of unique options that took advantage of the local seafood while maintaining the best of Italian cuisine. The waiter was plesant and the whole place felt very authentic. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for the upper side of italian food at a very reasonable price.

This was one of our favorite restaurants but since our last visit a year ago something has changed. A disappointing meal on my husbands 50th birthday. The food quality and preparation was less than. We were saddened.
