  • "I love this place and go there often for brunch. The Service is excellent and the food is very good. My only two comments about my experience this time around are as follows: 1) The fireplace was on....it was sweltering hot in the dining room. I don't think there's a need for a fireplace to be on blast when it's 90 degrees outside. 2) I asked for well done red meat at the bar and the piece I got wasn't done at all. It was also cold. The chicken fingers were also cold. Other than, that everything was great. We will be back again, as usual. Thank you!"

  • "The hamburger, that was requested medium well was obvious black on one side and you could not cut it with a knife. Maybe the cook misunderstood the order. The second one we received was better. Aspens took a special sauce that was used on the hamburger off the menu which was a big disappointment."

  • "I was very disappointed in the quality of the food - we have been going to Aspens for Easter brunch for several years and decided to try it for Father's Day - the bill was $60 and with tip came to $80 for two people. The quality of the food has definitley gone down since the last time we had Sunday brunch. The food was either cold - or tasteless - was not worth $30 a person. I don't think we will be back for Sunday brunch any time soon."

  • "I took my husband and his daughter here for brunch on Father's Day and was disappointed. The dinners I have had at Aspen have been excellent, but the selections on the brunch buffet were mediocre. Our waiter was slow and the price of the buffet was higher than usual because it was Father's Day. I won't be going back for brunch... But it's a good streak house for dinner."

  • "The idea of Aspens is much better than the reality. I don't know why we keep forgetting how terrible their brunch really is. Blah food (same items for 3 separate brunches) and the trays are often empty. Many people just standing around with plates waiting on food to be refilled. Also - the tables are set up so close to each other that you truly have difficulty getting out of your seat to walk to buffet. You are trapped by other chairs/people. Many people were complaining about seating today....and the food. For the price you are paying...they need to serve more than scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy....and a few other blah dishes. On another note - when we have eaten at this restaurant for menu ordering....it has been much better."

  • "We enjoy eating dinner at Aspens, but brunch was quite a disappointment. The only food that I had that was really good was the muffins they brought to the table. None of the three of us found anything on the brunch tables to be really good; it was all very mediocre. This was very disappointing since it was our Father's Day celebration. We'll go back for dinner, but not for brunch."

  • "The Sunday brunch here is very good with a wide variety of options - the traditional breakfast fare as well as lunch. There is also an omelet station and a carving station. Service is very attentive. The only minor flaw was some of the buffet items were not replenished in a timely manner - french toast and shrimp seem to be the most popular. I had to make several attempts to try to get either of those items."

Server offered to return it to the kitchen, but that would have meant I would eat after everyone was finished. Overall, we continue to enjoy Aspens."

  • "Daniel took GREAT care of us and answered my one thousand questions very honestly. He was very observant yet not checking on us every two min like some do. the food he recommended was fantastic, the best scallops I've ever had and he had the chef cook them the way I wanted so kudos to them both. My only is that we went to the bar to have a drink while waiting on our table and had to wait ten min to get acknowledge, the bartender blatantly took care of several other guest before speaking to us. However that didn't effect my experience. "

  • "The Beef Tenderloin Bruschetta was okay, the bread was black. Charred and crispy was not a flavor we were expecting. I'm glad they had the bread basket because it did take quite a long time to get our appetizer and our entrees. The Bone-in Cowboy Steak and Smoked Gouda Grits were great. The tables next to us were very loud and their conversations could be heard throughout the restaurant. We have dined at East and West now, East was far better. "

  • "We were a party of ten on Sunday evening. We were assigned to an inexperienced server (by his own words and later the manager's). We were literally seated for one hour before the initial drink order was completed (three bottles of wine and one bourbon and water). I twice notified the manager of the delay in service before she responded. This may have been an aberration, but the service on this occasion was worse than poor and even when alerted to that fact, the manager was slow to respond."

  • "This was my second time at the Mother's Day brunch and it was outstanding. For West Cobb, it is the nicest and best prepared brunch menu items around. And most importantly, my wife thoroughly enjoyed herself and both the breakfast and lunch options on the buffet. It's saying something when this buffet is the ONLY buffet my wife will consider."

  • "My husband and I dined at Aspens for Sunday brunch about 1 1/2 months before Mother's Day and really enjoyed it so we booked a table for 8 on Mother's Day but all in the party were disappointed with the food which were the same items we had during our first visit. We were crammed around other tables and a wall that didn't give anyone a chance to easily pass through without having someone stand up each time. We were told we needed to fill our omelette orders out on paper from the waiter but had trouble even finding our waiter to do this. I have already cancelled the Father's Day reservation I made for 8 due to our experience this time around. "

  • "It was Mothers Day Brunch. No mimosas were being served. Really?!? The carving station was opened for service 10 minutes before we finished our meal. We were all full from the other items that we didn't even want to try a small portion. There wasn't any syrup put out for the french toast until we were looking for our desserts and that made our 2 boys less than happy. Again, good but not great for $25 per person."

  • "We took the family Sat night for Mother's Day, clearly others had a similar idea of celebrating the night prior. They did not have the staff to properly service the number of patrons or larger parties. Everything we ordered took a very long time and the server walked past the table on several occasions with everyone staring, which would cause him to recall something. Of the 6 steaks ordered, only 1 was cooked truly to temperature. As the title states, the experience was disappointing and definitely not worth the money spent. "

  • "Took a group of 10 to eat here for a "thank you" meal. I normally go to Aspen's on the EAST side. The service was amazing. Our server was amazing. There were no quiet places in the restaurant, it was all pretty loud. I would say 4 people tops if you want to all speak to each other. The whole al a carte thing is too confusing for us suburbia folks. Just put it all together, you are not tricking us! Overall, the food and the room didn't match the $50+ plate price range. Aspens in East Cobb does match. The bathrooms were similar to Applebee's but with only 2 toilets in each. Lines for both guys and gals which actually affected the flow of out evening (no pun intended). There was a pile of cheap napkins (that we're soaked) on the counter. "

  • "My husband and I both ordered the tenderloin skewers. It was early in the night during early bird specials. We were told there were two left. They tasted like they were left over and heated in the microwave. The last time we had the same thing and it was very good. I still love the place but will not order that again. We go at different times, sometimes early bird and sometimes later. I don't think just because it's early bird that is an excuse to serve leftover food and hope that does not happen again. They were apologetic and offered us a complimentary dessert. We appreciated that."

  • "We have eaten at Aspen's West numerous times with never an issue, so we were surprised at a couple of things this time. When seated at 6:30, our server said, "We don't have any prime rib tonight". Huh? Aspen's is known for consistently excellent prime rib, so tonight there was none? We regrouped and ordered other items (all excellent), but we were still a bit disappointed. Then we ordered a bottle of our go-to cabernet (Justin) but were told they had no more. We ended up with a Joel Gott (which was fine), but were again a bit perplexed. We'll continue to go as often as before, but thought the absence of two of our favorites was odd. Again, every restaurant can have a off night. Guess that was the case this time. "

(Birthday dinner) The waitress was great and even suggested a great wine based off my taste, I stick to certain ones and they happened to only have it by the bottle at the time.   • "We had Easter Brunch at Aspens this year for the first time. We've been there many times before for regular Sunday brunch (buffet) and dinner, but usually go somewhere else on Easter. The food selection was okay and tasted fine, but it was nowhere near the level of their competitors. There simply wasn't enough variety on the menu, particularly for vegatables, non-breakfast meats, and dessert. I just would have thought they would have stepped it up for a holiday. The service was excellent, however, as usual and we enjoy the ambience. All in all, it was pleasant and wasn't a bad experience, but it could have been enhanced with more variety on the buffet. "

  • "Aspens has always been a go to place for my family for the holidays. Easter Sunday at Aspens was disappointing. It is normally a delightful brunch. The food was good but service was not. While interaction with wait staff is minimal at a buffet, we had to hunt down the waitress for coffee, drinks, catchup, etc. I might make mention here that I made a reservation early and had to add an out of town guest at the last minute. I called the day before to ask them to put an extra chair at the table. The girl who took my call told me "they don't like to do that," "it would be tight." I finally told her she need to take care of it and I would see her Sunday. I want my dining to be a pleasurable experience all around and this was not. "
