  • "My family and I attended their Easter Brunch. The food was great, especially the french toast and sirloin. Not to expensive and great food. We had an enjoyable time."

  • "Easter brunch was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the salmon croquettes this time! Aspens is a favorite for us, especially given that we have few upscale dining choices here in the West Cobb area. "

  • "Aspens has always been a go to place for my family for the holidays. Easter Sunday at Aspens was disappointing. It is normally a delightful brunch. The food was good but service was not. While interaction with wait staff is minimal at a buffet, we had to hunt down the waitress for coffee, drinks, catchup, etc. I might make mention here that I made a reservation early and had to add an out of town guest at the last minute. I called the day before to ask them to put an extra chair at the table. The girl who took my call told me "they don't like to do that," "it would be tight." I finally told her she need to take care of it and I would see her Sunday. I want my dining to be a pleasurable experience all around and this was not. "

  • "Food was hit and miss as to whether is was warm, luke warm or cold but taste was generally good. Buffets are hard to keep up but the service and ambiance was terrific. We will be back !"

  • "We had Easter Brunch at Aspens this year for the first time. We've been there many times before for regular Sunday brunch (buffet) and dinner, but usually go somewhere else on Easter. The food selection was okay and tasted fine, but it was nowhere near the level of their competitors. There simply wasn't enough variety on the menu, particularly for vegatables, non-breakfast meats, and dessert. I just would have thought they would have stepped it up for a holiday. The service was excellent, however, as usual and we enjoy the ambience. All in all, it was pleasant and wasn't a bad experience, but it could have been enhanced with more variety on the buffet. "

  • "Aspens is our favorite brunch place to eat. We eat on special occasions and for dinners. bamboo123"

  • "Service should be much better at a upscale restaurant. There should not be a 45 minute wait for food. In addition, many at the table ordered coffee and dessert. The coffee was served after everyone had finished dessert. "

  • "My husband and I ate at Aspens last week and for the price and the quality/quantity of food, I do not think that we will be going back again. The chicken that I had was breaded but there was sooo much breading and very little meat. It also came with mashed potatoes and there was not very much of that either. My husband had a steak and it was just okay. We had brunch there several years ago and we were not impressed with Aspens at that time but we thought we would give them another try. I do not think we will be eating there again."

  • "My wife and I have been going to several restaurants miles away from the community, just to go somewhere that's nice with a flare of sophistication. We have been talking about eating at Aspens for some time but never got around to it, until Sunday. It is very nice to have this level of restaurant in the community."

  • "This was our third time going for brunch and once again, the server(s) was awesome! Food was delicious and the ambience was splendid! A must for brunchers!"

  • "I made reservations and listed my wife's birthday as the special occasion. When I arrived I saw a note with a listing of "Special Events", anniversaries, birthdays, etc. My wife’s name was on it. The greeter presented a note to the person sitting us and they quickly responded, oh today's your birthday, happy birthday. I assumed, WRONGLY, that at the end of the meal, ($148/with tip for two) that she would have received a small dessert or something, but it never happened. So, bottom line, don't waste your time listing the special occasion on your reservation since it has zero impact. Bummer!"

  • "We like the 1/2 price wine by the bottle on Wed nights. The server was really attentive. Several varieties of East coast oysters were consumed with rave reviews. The bread is always spot on and the olive oil spread they make to go with it is outstanding. Three of us had the seared tuna on the Parmesan risotto. The addition of small orange pieces for a little citrus kick is just perfect. The other diner had the shrimp & grits which he raved about as well. In general the food is reliably very good and we don't have many choices for this type of dining in West cobb."

  • "This was about the 5th time we had Sunday Brunch at Aspens. They have a nice variety of breakfast & lunch items. Everything we tried was good. The made to order omlette was very good. The desserts were not up to par with the rest of the food."

  • "This was my first time going to eat at Aspen's, I was impressed by the overall ambience of the restaurant. Our waiter, Daniel gave great service from appetizers to dessert. He was very attentive and the staff made us very welcome. I can't wait to go again"

  • "I was rushing to accomplish numerous errands in/near the W Cobb Ave and was having a hunger meltdown at 5p. I stopped into Aspens and experienced a freshly open, yet relatively full dining room, offering much of the customary evening's fare at an early bird discount price. The food, service, and experience were wonderful, and who doesn't like to feel like they've saved a bit on eating out! Will definitely do it again very soon."

  • "POOR experience, steak was shoe leather and wait staff had zero personality. Would think twice about coming back to celebrate a special occasion. I use to really enjoy this restaurant"

  • "I always have a tough time making a choice with the Aspens menu because there are so many yummy options on it. This time, I decided to treat myself and go full on with an appetizer, entree and dessert. My friend did the same. I started with the tuna-2-ways appetizer, which was fantastic. Great flavor. I love that I can get tuna like this somewhere other than a sushi restaurant. Then I went with the flank steak, which was cooked exactly how I asked. Also great flavor. It has a balsamic reduction and and some blue cheese, which are 2 of my favorite ingredients. I ended with the peanut butter cheesecake. No explanation needed there...it's peanut butter and cheesecake. You can't go wrong."

  • "staff at our table was great. they went out of our way to make our anniversary a nice dinner. Food was very good at a fair price. Noise level was a little high, but the overall experience was very nice. We definitely would go back."

  • "WE could have eaten the lobster bisque and called it a night. It is terrific, ample, and more than an appetizer. Everything was very nice from greeting to goodbye: food, service, location, atmosphere."

  • "The service and food was exceptional. Aspens carries themselves as fine dining and they hit the spot. I have had bad experiences at the esat side location but these guys are spot on. Spend the extra time to go to Dallas hwy, you will not be disappointed. Also, they have the best crabcakes compared to Rays and Canoe."

  • "Our experience at Aspens was great as usual. The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect. We always enjoy going to Aspens and will be back again soon."

  • "With all Aspens (West Cobb) struggles to keep a decent chef, I am just so surprised that they aren't trying harder. We keep going back because there is no place else to go in West Cobb and we occasionally get a really nice meal there. And then we get a mediocre one and we swear off it for awhile. We keep going back... It's a love hate relationship! But Sedgewicks... Wise up! You could OWN Cobb County out here... There are NO decent restaurants out here, and Aspens has the potential to be a HUGE money maker!!!!!"

  • "We have eaten here a lot, the food and service is among the best in the area, and for me the Lobster Bisque is to die for."

  • "Aspens has become a weekly outing for me and my wife. We enjoy Thursday nights for the wine tasting event, which features 4 whites and 4 reds for $10. We also arrive before 6 pm and take advantage of the early bird menu. The food is consistently of high quality, well presented, and very flavorful. The Atlantic Salmon is our favorite dish. The service is always superb and the atmosphere provides an excellent combination of the rustic Colorado outdoors with upscale furnishings and attitude."

  • "On a night out with our grandparents, we left unsatisfied and angry. For the prices, the food was lack luster. A $38 steak should never be dry or overcooked. The overcooked steak was sent back, they returned with one almost as equally as cooked, not the medium rare requested & took 20 minutes to arrive at the table after everyone else was finished. Another ordered scallops and the waiter misheard and brought out Trout instead. They took it back and promised to return with the scallops which also took another 20 minutes to arrive. To top it off, instead of compensating for the late arriving scallops or steak, they returned with the Trout they brought out by mistake in a to go bag. This was a joke for what they call an upscale restaurant."

  • "We took our adult children there for a birthday. We had steak and the mountain trout. Fish was prepared well; flakey and moist with good sides. The steaks were cooked to order and very tender. Service was very good; they were attentive without being overwhelming. All in all a good night at a reasonable price."

  • "I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. Every other table was given a wine list but ours. It took 50 mins for our food to come out. My girlfriends steak was undercooked. My potato was cold and seemed a little undercooked too. When other tables got their food in a to go box, the waiter would box it...not with us. Overall it was a disappointment. The fries were good though."

  • "Good food here, but slow service. Need to speed up food coming from kitchen. It was an average Sunday night, and not terribly busy. Server was kind and informative. Nice ambiance. Tuna was fantastic, with parmesan risotto. Salmon also delicious."

  • "We have been to Aspens many times in the past and it may have just been an off night. My fish was good but the chicken in the salad was too burnt and tasted like the grill. We had people from out of town who had eaten here before, they commented it wasn't as good as in the past. We did report the poor quality of the chicken. Management did check on the table a number of times. I think it may be new servers and kitchen staff. We will go back one more time because we have a gift certificate and hope for a better night."

  • "Stonework and wood beams provide an upscale rustic vibe in this West Cobb restaurant. Attentive and friendly service (thanks, Anna!) even on Valentine's weekend. Nice touch - they were out of our favorite wine, brought 2 comparables, and charged for the original. Scallop app was cooked perfectly, and accompanying sauce was just right amount of enhancement. Rib-eye and hangar steaks at the right doneness and plenty of flavor, though the green beans with the latter were rather bland (but at least not over-cooked). Tiramisu was big, moist, tasty, and not cloying. German chocolate cake was pleasant surprise - mini-bundt was rich and the coconut/nut topping was fresh. It's a steakhouse, so we expected the higher prices and they were worth it."
