The steaks at dinner were very good and the wait staff very accommodating. The management seemed genuinely concerned that we were enjoying every aspect of our visit. She was so efficient, took care of all the behind scenes (flowers on the table) very professional...a real asset to this restaurant...and a beautiful smile !

Nice wine list. Only complaint was spot lights over table were so bright, I felt like I was having surgery.
Spotlights weren't at all tables though. Pricey, but good steaks are.

The food is always excellent and they generally have a bar and wine special during the week. On my most recent visit, they were also having wine tastings. Due to the number of diners participating in this event, the noise level was higher and the service a little slower. If not going specifically for the wine tasting, would recommend a different night for having dinner there. We had no expectations, but we did have hopes and we were not disappointed! The grilled salmon was delicious and an excellent choice. The meatloaf my husband ordered (needed to eat something soft) was excellent, although the creamed corn wasn't exactly "creamed". Aspen's wine list is really excellent, and I recommend the Nicolas Pinot Noir, as well as the Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay...yummy! It was my birthday and the complementary tiramisu was wonderful. You would think that the place would be slow on a Monday evening, but business was brisk and that was great to see. She had been to Aspen's for dinner before but never brunch. We had made a reservation but we still had to wait for a table. The wait wasn't too terribly long but I did find it interesting that a party without a reservation was seated before us.
It took several, maybe 10 -15 minutes, for our server to approach our table. He was very slow to bring us drinks and it took a long time to get anything that we requested. We were patient though - understanding that it was brunch on Mother's Day - but it wasn't so ridiculously busy that the service should have been that slow.

We had been there before, but it had been a while. We started with an appetizer of calamari, which was excellent. Crispy, but not overfried. We both ordered the filet mignon medium rare and received the most tender, juicy steaks we've had in ages. They were absolute perfection! My husband loved the mashed potatoes, while I opted for the great sweet potato fries. The waiter, Mike, who was just delightful, presented us with a lovely and delicious tarimisu for desert. All in all, a wonderful evening of outstanding food and service.
