We had no expectations, but we did have hopes and we were not disappointed! The grilled salmon was delicious and an excellent choice. The meatloaf my husband ordered (needed to eat something soft) was excellent, although the creamed corn wasn't exactly "creamed". Aspen's wine list is really excellent, and I recommend the Nicolas Pinot Noir, as well as the Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay...yummy! It was my birthday and the complementary tiramisu was wonderful. You would think that the place would be slow on a Monday evening, but business was brisk and that was great to see. It would be impossible to try everything on the buffet, but we tried our best. The selection of food is incredible, and everything was delicious. We had been there before, but it had been a while. We started with an appetizer of calamari, which was excellent. Crispy, but not overfried. We both ordered the filet mignon medium rare and received the most tender, juicy steaks we've had in ages. They were absolute perfection! My husband loved the mashed potatoes, while I opted for the great sweet potato fries. The waiter, Mike, who was just delightful, presented us with a lovely and delicious tarimisu for desert. All in all, a wonderful evening of outstanding food and service. Not being a coffee fan, I opted for the beignets w/ whipped cream which were surprisingly excellent as well. The only thing missing was some type of bread to eat with the salad and lunch fare.

Brunch buffet was chok full of yummy offering and wide variety of choices prepared fresh and replenished often. The only criticsm I can offer is that the leg of lamb was over cooked and dry to my liking.
