  • "Lots of choices and specials . They do a nice job of pacing your meals, service is always friendly. One of the pieces of the egg plant was burnt on the bottom (black) the other pieces were fine. Did not give them time to fix the problem because we had a show to catch, I am sure they would have ."

  • "Usually we love Asiago's. It's in our regular rotation. The atmosphere is cozy. The food tasty and comforting. But Saturday night I think they were having an off night. It had snowed a bunch the day before, it was single digit temperatures and not many people had ventured out in town that night it seemed. There was only 2 other tables occupied in the room where we were but service was amazingly slow. Every course straggled. We poured our own wine as we hadn't seen the server in awhile. We ran out of bread. The waitress seemed like she wished she was home in front of the fire instead of serving us dinner. Finally the main courses came and my husband's steak while cooked perfectly was so tough he was having a hard time cutting it even with a steak knife. We mentioned it to the server and she did give us a $10 gift certificate but it just felt like Asiago's was having an off night. Don't worry Asiago's... we still love you and will be back for hopefully a better experience soon."

  • "Really enjoyed our dinner, we've been trying out different restaurants on our trips over to Boise, we live in Ketchum. This time we chose Asiago and we enjoyed our dining experience there as well as previous dining adventures. We were both in the restaurant business for years, so kind of enjoy being cast in the role of guest now. Our server seemed a little rushed, but made up for it with a wonderful attitude and smile. We never lacked for anything service wise. The meal was delicious and perfectly prepared. In all, a pleasant evening out once again in Boise."

  • "First of all, before last night, I had never heard of Asiago's before. I wanted to take my date somewhere kind of nice for dinner, but all of the other restaurants I had thought of and called were all booked. I did a quick Google search, and Asiago's popped up. I looked into their menu online and thought, "Let's give this a shot." I was not disappointed at all! In fact, I think this was the perfect place to go. The food was amazing (especially the Cinque Formaggi) and the atmosphere was nice and romantic. Overall, I would highly recommend this place."

  • "This is a great Italian restaurant. We went for a night away from the kids and had the feel of a good romantic dinner. There were large groups there but it didn't take away from our experience. The food was amazing and complimented by great service. We can't wait to go back to try the different selections."

  • "We had a lovely dinner. We had the Antipasto for an appetizer along with a Spanish Red. I had the Il Fungo Selvaggio along with a side of a spicy sausage. It was very well presented and cooked to perfection. My date had the Carne which she thoroughly enjoyed. The sliced bread right on the table adds to the ambiance For dessert, crème brûlée. The service was adequate. It was not that busy on a Thursday night and the server seemed distracted. An issue with the wine, dinner served without my sausage, and a great deal of time after we had finished dessert where I literally had to go find her so we could pay our bill and leave. This will not affect our returning again but I would hope we would see an improvement in the service."

  • "i expected more. The food was OK, not much garlic for Italian though. Also, it was expensive. The service was slow. We were there on a Thursday, not crowded so should have been fine. Dessert took 25 minutes to arrive. It wasn't anything elaborate either. I would not choose to go back. It was my sons choice for his birthday."

  • "Wife, daughter and I ate there early on a Wed to celebrate wife's B'day. Wife ordered the salmon on bed of polenta special. I had the pasta in a cheese cream sauce with chicken and daughter had a pasta with marinara with meatballs. Both were good. Wife's special though, the salmon was good, albeit a little over cooked. The polenta was dry and flavorless. These are ala carte entrees and the special was $19."

  • "I have gone to Asiago's several times on dates with friends, as well as my husband. This experience was just as expected. The service was friendly, fast, and helpful. The food was amazing! My husband and I always love getting the salad on special and splitting it and it is just enough for both of us and delicious. He got the ThaiItalian and I had the mushroom dish. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The atmosphere was romantic and quaint. I love Asiago's because it is a great place to go on a romantic date with great food, but not have to break the bank to do so."

Whether we are ordering old favorites or the latest creative ideas from the kitchen the food is always excellent. The service is friendly and attentive, the wine list is creative and well-priced, and the atmosphere works for special occasions and for casual meals out. There is noting to complain about."

  • "We ate out during a big Boise State home game. The restaurant did not seem busy. The server was friendly but at times sluggish to return. Asiago's has different people bring out food, refill drinks, and clear making it difficult to interact with the server. We ordered a bottle of white wine and found it the perfect drinking temperature. We requested an ice bucket and it was presented promptly. Our only issue was the food portion. I ordered a veal dish. I did order the larger size and received 8 good slices of veal presented with 6-8 ounces of spaghetti. My spouse ordered gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce 30-40 pieces of pasta in a rich sauce. We wondered if they sacrificed quality for quantity. Pricing was more than fair."

  • "If we had been inside, our ratings probably would have been all 5 stars and much less noise. Outside there were lots of flies, and people downtown were riding beer-cycle things, whooping at the top off their lungs. Made it hard to feel romantic, which is what Asiago's is known for around here. Cody, our server, was excellent. Great place, just sit inside."

  • "We had been recommended Asiagos very heavily so we decided to go for my dad's birthday dinner. We called ahead of time and asked them to bring out a birthday dessert and even reminded them when we were sat. We got our drinks and appetizer in a pretty timely manner, but when we ordered, we ordered before at least 3 other tables. After a hour we still did not have our food even though every other table in the room did; even the people that came in after us. After my dad asked them about our food it finally came out and was lackluster for the price; the seafood in my dish made me ill. Finally when it was time for dessert, the waitress forgot, I reminded her, and then in a hurry she served us cold creme brûlée."

  • "This is a beautiful restaurant with an authentic Italian feel. My husband was not impressed with the lasagna, prefers mine (which comes from Costco, by the way) I had a simple Mediteranean pasta dish which was pretty good, but much too garlicy, and I love garlic. The wine list was impressive and the service was superb. Our waiter was friendly, personable, and professional. So, if you want great atmophere and service, this is the place. We will definately return, but maybe just for drinks and apps."

The polenta that came with the salmon was a little crisp and very flavorful. My husband had a chicken Cesar salad that was absolutely yummy!"
