  • "Great food, Came quickly. Quite loud though. Other than noise level it was great. Also its very dim lit. I like to see my food when i eat it. The menu is in Italian. unless you are bilingual, expect to ask for help to order. Moderately expensive. But great tasting food. bread was exceptional."

  • "We were a party of 4 and felt a bit cramped. Seating was near doors, so kept getting chills from the cold night air. Very busy with prom goers, so it was hard to hear our table conversation without raising our voices a bit. The food was great, the services/server was good. We liked the fact that the server was aware when people had a mouth full of food and waited to ask how the food was tasting. Nothing is more annoying than a server asking that question when you've only just spoon food into your mouth. The noise was probably an anomaly due to the school kids, so my only advice would be to move people away from the doors. Otherwise, we had a wonderful meal with our friends."

  • "We have taken several family and friends there for a special dinner out. Everyone has loved their entrees, desserts and even the coffee! The service is very attentive and interactive. Always leave hoping to come back soon to order yet another entree. Their menu is extensive... In fact hard to make a decision. Never been disappointed. Great for all dietary issues, adequate portions, nice atmosphere. Wish it was closer to us., but worth the drive to Boise."

  • "The food and service was great. I had the Vesuvio, and it tasted fantastic. I don't do spicy-hot too well and would have appreciated a warning about spicy-hot dishes. Regardless the Vesuvio was very delicious. The wine list is very nice, I would have appreciated a Rioja or two on the list. Our waiter was very polite and professional. Definitely recommended."

  • "We love stopping in Boise on our way to AZ, or on our way home. We had heard about Asiago.s from a friend and thought a nice dinner out a great way to end our last night on the road. Asiago's did not disappoint. Friendly and welcoming staff from the moment we walked in the door. Fresh warm bread delivered to the table with delicious Olive Oil and Balsamic vinegar available. Nice variety in the menu and all our selections were loaded with flavor. A special shout out to the delectably prepared Calamari - one of our favorite appetizer choices that is all too often greasy and rubbery. Asiago's take was fabulous. Lightly seasoned and tender. Great dining experience! Worth noting is the excellent service we received from start to finish!"

  • "I recently took my husband to Asiago's for a surprise birthday dinner. We were both greatly surprised first off by the atmosphere that Asiago's has. The decor is both welcoming and warming to be in. Second, the service is absolutely outstanding. Our cups never ran dry and our waiter was both informative and friendly. Last, the food was something to recommend. The quality of ingredients is something you don't find everywhere. We were both very pleased and eager to come back."

  • "I enjoyed my lamb salad, however, my mainr eason for going to Asiagos was for the crab cakes. The menu online still listed them, however, I was told they no longer prepared them. I was very disappointed. But, the dinner I substituted was very well prepared and the wine delicious, so all is well!"

  • "I went her with my family to celebrate a birthday. The food could not have been better. You are started out with small warmed loaves of bread and olive oil. We had an appetizer of garlic toasted bread with three different spreads that was very good. My caesar salad was one of the best I have had recently. We all made choices from the Secundum portion of the menu. There were over twenty choices of pasta and not one meatball and spagetti. I had the lasagne with chicken and mushrooms. It was excellent. One of my daughters had a gnocchi pasta dish that she really liked. By the way, the pasta is made daily on site. While we did not order any entrees, there were several good choices. We capped it off with some very good creme brulee."

The menu is extensive, offering many choices to satisfy different tastes. Our food was fresh, beautifully presented, and excellent. The host and server were professional, attentive, and friendly.   • "The first time I went to Asiago's, it was a bit of a let down. However, I decided to give it another try and am so glad that I did. The food was delicious; I recommend ordering from their specials menu as everything we tried from it was wonderful. The service was also great; attentive and genuinely friendly. As for atmosphere, it was generally pleasant, but it was a bit too dark in the restaurant."

  • "Asiago's has long been a favorite of mine -- always great service and fresh, unique, generously portioned dishes. except.... They added at least 8 and maybe more tables for this date night. The restaurant was overcrowded, overloud, and a server was overheard to say "how am I supposed to get there?" in regards to a two-top that was in the middle of six other tables. couldn't stand up at your seat without bumping diners behind and beside you. Because over-extended the service was poor. Nice people, but how can you maintain a smile working in that environment? drink orders overlooked, and even bread was 15 minutes to get to our table. sad face. look forward to redemption at next visit."

I then chose a pesto with pine nuts that lacked pine nuts. My wife had a nice pasta dish with veggies that was very good. Overall it wasn't the experience I was looking for."

  • "Food was good, service was great! I was there on Valentine's day which, I'm sure, is one of their busiest days. The tables are very close together and it was incredibly noisy. It's hard to have a conversation with the other person/people in your party because you can hear the conversations of all the others at the tables around you. Like I said before, the food is good and the service was great but it's certainly no place for a quiet, romantic dinner like Valentine's day, etc."

  • "Our server and the support staff were great, very attentive & made for a great experience. But, the ticket time for the kitchen needs to be worked on. We were there on 2/15 at 5:45. The restaurant was full but not packed, mostly 2 tops, our food took over 45 min. Server stopped by twice to tell us he would check on the food and obvious, even he thought it was taking a long time and felt bad about it. We were not in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal, but will make me think twice about returning. I can't imagine how long it would take if we had been there around 7:30 when the restaurant really filled up. They mention on the menu that it will take a while, so they know this is an issue.?."

The food is very good, the service is very good, the setting is nice, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the meal and experience. It's a little loud for my preference during peak times, but I am not sure how that could be mitigated without ruining the "Italian" ambience."
